I can definitely see cooler oil through good oil coolers but not through thicker oil which creates more friction (drag) which always creates more heat. Using thicker oil for protection purposes, yes, for heat dissipation, no, because of drag inside the engine parts.
They are different. The J&L only goes to the passenger side which is all you need. The Ford kit goes to both sides which you don't need. I have a J&L, it works, so I'm biased. It's also easy to install.
Defiinitely sell it back. No way I would tie up that much money for a car I couldn't drive. Of course I'm talking about a cash buy which is the way I buy cars.
I was over a company there along with one here and a night in a Marriot in Brisbane was $400 in 2009. A breakfast buffet in the Marriot was $35. Everything was/is like "WOW!!". Better stop, too much I never understood about Aussies and Canuks. I think it's called "socialism".
