Get over it dude. I bought and paid cash with my money for my brand new GTO when in college out of high school because I worked offshore summers starting at 17 (yes, illegal in age) making more money than I did for a few years out of college with an engineering degree and later a business...
I decided when I bought my GT that tires and gasoline would never be a pain point. I just fork over the money as needed. It wasn't hard to decide since this is my fourth Mustang V8.
What I see young people driving is used up junk. They don't hold down decent jobs so they don't drive decent cars or they drive Mommie's car. They aren't circulating any money because they're still living at home.
I still say the best way to deal with it is to position one’s self so they can buy whatever they want. THAT is what people have control over. Complaining solves no problems.
I gather from here that an awful lot of people feel entitled to a Mustang and no telling what else. All new cars are expensive for what they are. Work hard, work smart, buy what you want. Works well for me.
Nope. Washed it many times (it's a Mustang) with no problems whatsoever. My dealer isn't really worried about it. It goes in next week for an oil change, tire rotation, and sensor check.
I sure wish someone would name the almighty perfect and great car manufacturer without problems, recalls, and bad dealers. I really want to know who this car maker is. Not many people seem to understand the complexity of designing, manufacturing and selling a car to the public. I do since I...
Just do what I do, tell them your expectations and that gives them an out as a sub-par dealer if they think that's what they are. If they don't think they can do a good job, I don't either.
I have my doubts that the turbo inline 6 will go anyplace, sales-wise. It may have power but it has a turbo and it's a six cylinder. That, right there, means it isn't a muscle car to me, just a six cylinder that probably won't last long, if for no other reason than it's built by Stelantis...
It's that "common sense" part that may be more valuable than the radar detector itself. A radar detector doesn't protect from being stupid. Time and place have a lot to do with it also. :)
You mean you actually drove your car?? Be careful now, it will soon be over 1500 miles!!
J/K Starship. At least you take good care of your cars! :sunglasses:
