Has anyone else noticed on the Ford App that the wording on the recall now is only:
"Inspection for water intrusion into the body control module"?
The wording now only says: Description, Safety risk, and Remedy with no descriptions under these headings.
It sounds to me like the recall is...
There's a lot of apples to oranges comparisons going on here.....like rear end ratios, transmission type, kind of roads, speeds driven, and most of all the right foot but it is all interesting to hear about.
I don't get the sounds any more. I told them in their feedback function that comes up now and then that I don't like it and it went away. Any correlation to that, I don't know. It's just gone now and I'm happy about it.
Agree 100%. I've been over a Tier 1 supplier to Ford and they didn't accept anything less than perfect quality from us. Their quality problems happen in their own assembly plants. They don't follow their own systems which are the same ones that their Tier 1 suppliers must follow or there is...
If Mustangs are going to be around, they need to work on their quality. People paying what they cost now expect better paint jobs, fit and finish, etc.
I don't think the air is ducted in. There was a thread here that addressed this but I don't remember the process. I think there is some kind of device under the seats but I don't remember how they work. It just works and I like it is what counts to me. If you look under the seats, there isn't...
No problem, it's all good @MAT1955. I've used Meguair's Gold and it's very good stuff, IMO. I can't criticize it and have some in the garage. What it boils down to for me is that people like what they like, are going to use what they like and it just isn't rocket science.
Kind of like...
All very nice looking cars. There's just something about Mustangs. I'm on my fourth one and the stock power keeps climbing.
I read this afternoon that Trump is trashing Obama and Biden's CAFE wishes and hopes. That's great news for us power mongers!
Keep on "Mustanging".
My kid has kids so I don't need a back seat. It looks nice but serves no purpose for me but does add cost and weight. I wish Ford would consider an mid-engine but it would compete with the Mustang, so they won't.
I think due to the general cost of things going up, a lot of cars and things...
Went over it with some spray Collinite "Insulator Speed Wax" using microfiber towels. That, on top of a Collinite wax job gives an amazing shine and slick smoothness on the surface. Doesn't take long either. I can tell the car is much much faster now too...... 😁
I drove my Mustang right at 400 hwy. miles yesterday, sometimes slow, sometimes definitely not. No hood flutter whatsoever at any speed. Not all cars are the same apparently. I just know mine doesn't do it after adjusting the stops.
I use Collinite waxes, No. 845 or No. 476s and their Speed Spray for a real quick detail if I want it. I clay-barred the car before using any of it. The 845 is as good as the 476s, IMO. It's what I will stick with I like it so much. It brings out the deep color on a real smooth surface in my...
I get asked how I do my car and I use my fav. brand of carnuba. Very now and then, a clay bar and Collinite Speed Wax spray on real quick after washing sometimes gives an amazing finish.
Very interesting since I have the 3:15 auto. I don't find it lacks for anything power/speed wise with that rear end ratio. I've read the car is limited to 155, which doesn't matter to me.
Thanks for posting.
Man, you've "aged yourself" terribly throughout this thread and I think this forum has more than it's share of "older people". My dad bought a Coyote Mustang at 86 y.o. and enjoyed every minute of it. Maybe you have health problems or something but you'll be here to either enjoy what's left...
