I had a Z06 Tremec and six gear was useless unless overdrive was wanted and it wasn't. Decided not to do it again and a bad back doesn't need to be pushing pedals. I find my automatic fun and quick as hell. LIke the paddles now and then. Both have their place.

^^^That's what I did with my GT and it uses zero oil. Drove it right at 400 half interstate and half twistie miles today and the highway was averaging 85 mph+ in holiday traffic. Still got 25.0 mpg and no oil used. Ran her up to 100+ now and then to get away from the idiots driving above...

I really don't think there is a wrong answer because it's YOUR car. Like someone else just said in another thread, you're going to get other opinions and disagreements on any forum, especially this one!

I like manuals but own an automatic. Don't assume they aren't fun because this Mustang auto is fun and faster of course. I don't at all regret the decision to get one. Drive an auto before you write them off. Just another opinion.

I keep a roll of paper towels in my car. They work to wipe off funnels and I refuse to touch a gas fill up handle as someone, somehow seems to get gasoline all over them then I get back in my car with gas all over my hand smelling like gas. So, I grab the handles with a paper towel over them...

Collinite Speed Spray Wax......spray it on, wipe it in and off real quick over any Collinite wax job and it's amazing. My race red just pops. Looks way too good to drive..... 🤣. Just finished going over the car with it. Collinite makes very good stuff. It's the last brand I'm using.
