No. I't talking about A/E, Active EXHAUST mode, not driving mode. My first post was ambiguous, but the last sentence of it was not........
"Question: Is there different transmission or engine programming going on when AE is in Track Mode? There's a noticeable driving change in my car.
My car...
I would go back to the dealer and deliver unholy hell about that to the General Manager. He wouldn't forget it either. It's just wheels.
I did that when I was 19 y.o., a few years ago 🙄, having to do with the exact same thing, on the first new car I ever bought with money I earned and they...
I watched my dealer do both of my oil changes and the tech put exactly 9.5 quarts of my oil in my car as specified by my owner's manual. I brought home the half quart not poured in. Both times, the oil level registered half way on the dipstick, about 25 minutes after being parked on my flat...
YES!! Claybars make a big difference with now and then use. Follow up with Collinite paste wax or Collinite 845 and not have to do it often. @CRC123 is right. My three cents.
The Tennessee Valley region of Northern Alabama. Scottsboro, Alabama. Small town, small dealer, big service, very nice people, very good deal. It's several miles down the road from where I actually live.
Like others have said, I would take it to the dealer and demand they remove the film. If they balked, make it worth their time to remove it (be a dick about it and let them know you aren't going away until they do it). It may be time for force to be used.
This was labor only and you know there is a dealer out there that will do it for $35 now. I brought my own oil and filter and they let me stand there and watch them do the job. None of this "insurance won't let us crap".
Yes, it is a helluva deal which is why I don't crawl under my car. In...
Nice job! I buy my PUP and Motorcraft filter from Amazon and my dealer only charges me $35 for an oil change. Worth every penny of it to not have to crawl under the car and remove all those fasteners. I've read that Kirkland oil is good stuff so I would not worry about it.
No, my s650 doesn't lug at all up mountains. I live on a mountain and go up and down mountains everyday. My car pulls up mountains, tends to keep it's speed and only downshifts as a last resort it seems. I think it has the torque/power to handle mountains very well. At least my car does...
I'm with Starship on this one. Never will my car have hood graphics. The car either looks good without them, or it doesn't look good. Just another opinion.
My best answer to your question is to call the "Collinite" people, ask for someone with technical experience in using their product and you'll get some very good advice from the manufacturer of a great product. Quick and easy....... 315-732-2282. I use Collinite with amazing results.
Ditto with me here only there is a truck culture here. Big huge lifted trucks, 4 wheel drive is a must, diesel whether needed or not and if it can be afforded (or not), incredibly expensive huge aftermarket wheels and huge tires but no need to ever take it off road and get it dirty.....
Just had my second oil change at 5K miles at my dealer and tire rotation. With my oil and filter, total cost was $60 not counting Amazon bought PUP and Ford filter. I could not have possibly been treated better by everyone there. They let me, and anybody that wants to watch, at the work bay...
