Well said, I'm surprised to see how often people get Shelby's approach to car building wrong. I've seen so many car fans who seem to think Shelby was this staunch conservative car builder who just put a v8 in everything because it was patriotic or something. In reality, he was an innovator who...
Not bad, but because the trunk shut line droops down now, I'd like to see someone try this there the blacked out part follows the mostly linear line running under the taillights so it's more even. Might look strange with the black going under the taillights, but I'm curious.
We can hope. But until Shelby hires real engineers and designers again, I wouldn't be too optimistic. Not to sound too mean, but the fact that Shelby went from creating their own unique cars with tons of creativity and devolved into a tacky tuning shop annoys me.
Damn, I was excited that it was a Shelby variant being tested by Ford and not the lads in Vegas. Don't get me wrong, what they do is cool, but the Shelby corp based in Vegas is basically just a tuning shop at this point, nothing too exciting imo.
While such news doesn't surprise me too much, I don't believe the answer is to layoff thousands of engineers. The last thing you want to do is overwork your employees and stretch them thin. That never leads to anything good.
Long wheelbases generally look pretty good. The key to a great looking design is a long wheelbase, with short overhangs. The reason 70s land yachts look so bad is their front and rear overhangs just go on forever.
Bro, how dare you spend money on something you prefer. I'm furious, expect a well worded email at no later than 12:05 p.m. tomorrow where I'll tell you just how wrong you are. After that, we're finished, don't speak to me or my son every again.
F1 is rapidly becoming one of the more popular sports out there. So there's a ton of opportunities to interact with fans. Farley also mentioned how taking an active role in F1 would help the company develop it's customer projects, especially in terms of areo. He said they're developing a...
Agreed, it's the sensible direction to go in. Especially if Ford does what gm didn't. Keeps the front engine traditional mustang, and offers a mid-engine variant at the same time.
Jim Farley said a few months ago that they "Had a lot of surprises and aces up their sleeves that would surprise...
You're speaking my language now. Ford is testing multiple c8s, and ford has said they will expand the mustang brand. Some could say they were benchmarking the c8 against the s650, but that's very unlikely. I think they could actually offer something in price comparable to the c8.
They have the...
