Exactly how I felt regarding the shoulder and swage lines. Thought they made a big mistake at first, but it's really clean and they did a great job of creating taught lines in place. The more photos we see of this thing in non-showroom lighting, the better we can realize that too.
Not even for...
That rapid red photo perfectly shows how well they integrated the front and rear half. It looks like the front half perfectly slots into the swollen rear fenders. Dat power stance.
Every Bullitt version's been a banger. The first Mustang I ever drove was a buddy's '02 Bullitt (I know, the one nobody ever talks about). Had me hooked. I specifically ordered my '15 GT PP in Guard because I wanted the closest thing to a dark green fake-Bullitt that I could get, plus no spoiler...
It's insane how much better the panel fitment is on the new S650. Not just that, but the overall alignment and congruency of the entire body creates WAY better, uninterrupted reflections. Don't get me wrong, I adore the lines of the S550 and think they nailed it (which is part of why I bought a...
Call me crazy but every time I take another look at it, I start to like it more and more. I think I might actually love it when I get to see it in person.
I just stuck with my Cup 2s for the entire duration of my GT350 ownership. Got about 7-8k out of the rears and 10-12k out of the fronts. Then again, the GT350 had bespoke compounds that wore a "little" better than the ones on the PP2 and GT350R, and I'm guessing the Mach 1 received the same...
I saw that and a bunch of interior demo videos. Just not a fan of Ford's Sync aesthetic. If we can at least choose a color palette that doesn't flood the screen with fifty shades of blue or all white like on other Ford models, then it's definitely a step in the right direction. Never been a fan...
Ford has always had ugly, behind-the-curve UI aesthetics. So much blue too. :(
Granted, so are 90% of the others, especially in the non-lux segment. And at least it's not the knock-off fake-phone-app look like the stuff from GM and older Hondas and Toyotas. Only recently have non-lux brands...
My issue with his opinions and re-styling practices is that he's stuck on a one-note track. He clearly prefers generic design cues that are "correct" looking in terms of theory and design principles. The problem shows in his redesigns when he essentially neuters the character of any car he...
Ha, I was being facetious. To add to what you’re saying, the reason the tri-bar, galloping pony, and the Shelby badging all look good is because they actually look ornate. Like sophisticated pins. This looks like a silver blasted decorative sugar cookie.
It just hit me that this badge would be totally acceptable and maybe even a little cool if they just slapped that horse's head on a rectangular plaque similar to how they treated the GT350's badging.
But no, the Dodge/RAM styled surrounding frame gives it this Transformers Autobots vibe like it...
If Preuninger and the rest of the GT team are willing to stick these tires on their top dog then I have full confidence in them as a product. That’s great to see.
