Literally a different compound. I've had vanilla P Zeros. They were shit, but their Trofeos have been consistently and objectively ranked very well. You're seriously deluded trying to extrapolate your experience from a completely separate tire.
I just found out that the Trofeo RS tires look to be the first of their kind and have a 100tw rating which is INTENSE. That's a massive deal. This thing is here to put up insane numbers. It'll probably run rings around the Mach 1 just thanks to the tires.
I can't find any information on them. The Trofeo R has existed for some time now and is an extremely competitive sub-100tw compound. There is zero information about this new Trofeo RS.
What do you guys think they'll be. My guess is a 200tw tire that competes somewhere between a Cup 2 and...
This video is the only one I could find that ALMOST goes into the different gauge options. He touches base on them too briefly. It looks like there are 5-7 options to choose from and so far I've seen three of them. None really floating my boat so far.
This was so lame. My text also came in late and it's literally just these photos and them asking us to share it on our social media.
All that hype for a few photos and their attempt to get us to market for them.
Would be nice to see considering they've been using the same damn shell for over 10 years now. You could effectively get these same exact seats in the early S197s.
If I had to summarize my thoughts, this would be it. Let's hold out and see how it looks in video. I need to see those taillights in a walkaround before passing judgement. But right now with the still shot we've seen, they just look slapped on and out of place.
I'm not in love with it like I was with the S550 unveiling. A few things bother me off the bat:
-It looks like they're hiding the jacked up nose (likely due to pedestrian safety standards) and consequently tall-stretched face by increasing the grille opening artificially with that blacked out...
Looks like something Dodge would pump out. Not crazy about it but I'm hoping it's used just used on something like a key fob like someone suggested earlier.
After getting an early run '15 GT plagued with issues, and then having a near-end build '20 GT350 that turned into a Lemon, you bet your ass I'll wait at least six months before placing an order. Assuming I fall in love with it like I did the S550.
Fool me thrice shame on me.

Oh god the hype. I remember EXACTLY where I was and what I was doing when I watched the S550 unveiling. DAMN YOU FORD, I'M TRYING TO BUY SOMETHING THAT'S NOT A MUSTANG. TURN OFF YOUR HYPE MACHINE.
Love seeing the refinement in these images. My two cents:
These renders would benefit big time with some more realistic changes made to the wheel and tire models. Would you consider rounding the tire sidewalls? They currently look like giant barrels because of the aggressive, almost-90-degree...
