First year pricing for new models is always the most aggressive, but I really wouldn't be surprised to see large incremental year over year pricing bumps with different equipment bundling to keep things in-line with inflation. Good guess is anywhere between current pricing and what I listed earlier.
Same same, but have to admit you start paying attention to it a lot more when the baseline price for a GT [premium] is likely creeping up in the 45-50k range.
Way more concerned with how it drives at this point.
I unironically like this more than the single pane because the bezels donāt look chunky-monkey and there isnāt a chunk of black plastic separating the screens lol
Itās really disconnected, like somehow gummy and wooden at the same time. Not the tightest on-center and not the most accurate when weight starts transferring. Resistance doesnāt build linearly and the preset steering weights are really artificial; it doesnāt match the load of the front tires or...
I think the GT looks way better and the name doesnāt annoy me, but there are two issues concerning me:
1) how bad is the MT82 still⦠like Iād have to immediately buy an MGW or Barton kit to be moderately happy with it.
2) is the DH going to drive like the Mach and GT350? Is the new GT/PP going...
I mean, not always. Iāve put over 1000 miles on a couple of family owned vehicles that I wouldnāt pick before an M2C. AMG GT63 S? Fast but boring. Would pick a hundred different slower, less expensive cars before it. Itās too big, too luxurious, and too hyper-insulated as a result. Handles well...
I feel like most OEMs tend to price relatively inline with inflation with some mild rounding up or down based on standard equipment and packaging. If we take existing models, add a year's worth of inflation according to bls.gov's CPI calculator, and round up or down a tad, we get this:
Ecoboost...
The carryover door panels bother me more than they should. I just wish they took more creative liberty with the screens from a physical standpoint. I don't even care about whether or not they kept things symmetrical; a Mustang interior usually has those nifty gimmicks that add character and I...
I can't say I agree with this and I've been on Bimmerpost since pre-2007 lol. The 1M and M2 have largely been the enthusiast picks (at least when the M2 comp came out and they ditched the plain Jane N55 that shouldn't have gone in the M2 in the first place). The M3/4 are ridiculously expensive...
The S550's steering wheel diameter was too big, by at least an inch or two. But it was the 9-and-3 shaping of the spokes on the back end where your fingers rest that truly sucked mega ass. One of the chunkiest, least ergonomic set of spokes on any steering wheel I've used in any car, no...
