And just in time. Last night I took the wife out, put the Mustang up about 2215. startup at 0615 and I had a sync reset of at least some modules, but no s/w update showing.
it looks like custom colors, ambient lighting and the alarm exit prompt.
I guess I’ll wait for the next update to...
There was a lot of mod talk, a little auto-x, track days, group buys, but let’s be real: Forums were still the precursor to social media and you still had the constant complainers, whiners and knuckleheads. But in those days, the Mustang was a different car altogether, and targeted at a...
This is all over M7G. have you had an OTA update or done FORSCAN mods? They will reset your module specific selections to default.
Common reset values are
custom colors, ambient lighting, alarm prompt on exit and a few more possible I’m sure I’ve forgotten.
Always check the car out thoroughly even if it’s new because delivery damage occurs. There was a guy on FRF who was there for his Ratpor’s unloading off the trailer at the dealer and the horror show ensued. They managed to drive the truck off the ramps crooked, causing pretty significant...
Except for the trolls and AI bots.
I would say you know who you are, but... do they? 🤔
I think the trolls know they’re trolls, but, do the AI accounts really know what they are?
No, it’s not.
Exactly. This is almost perfectly analogous to drawing a handgun from a holster unconcealed, vs concealed which adds ~ .25-.5 ish seconds to the draw/present time.
Instead of reaching for dash button where you have direct input and immediate response, on the Mustang’s fancy...
The one thing tariffs are guaranteed to do is get the AI trolls here to post up about how much more the Mustang is going to cost, and crow about EV adoption.
I did a test this morning on the way to/from the gym. The climate control was a little on the chilly side, but I left it alone and it was fine after a couple minutes. Even so, in the 15 minutes each way, I didn’t look at the center screen once.
I did listen to the stereo, but have to admit I...
let’s agree to disagree.
I don’t know, after the mystery stalling, ABS faults and loss of brakes, that i’ve ONLY had on a brand b and never had on any other car since 1987 when I started accumulating vehicles, I have a different opinion.
There are elements of truth in each of your sentences...
In sync3, you had the “Compass” option for the center of the gauge cluster and while navigating it would show a prominent icon for next turn / distance. Now we have a much smaller icon present but it’s not the prominent center of the gauges area.
But hey, thank GOODNESS we have that...
I never even considered the recirc! Where I live we have been under drought restrictions for 6 months. I have a pile of brush that is almost as big as my house like many others around me. So last week the drought and burn restrictions were lifted and there were small fires all over and I...
How the AF is more power ever a bad thing?
@Alan Applegate, please know that I’m answering generally and not personally as I do enjoy your insights... That said, do we all need to GET OFF YOUR LAWN too?
Why? BFYTW is the only answer to this question. Again, answering generally, not to you...
I had a freak off road incident where I lodged a very large wood splinter into the bead of my truck’s tire, flattening it. All I had to do was get the ginormous, spear tip sized splinter out by dismounting the tire and remounting it.
That’s worth a shot.
confirm balance when you remount if...
I was going to suggest software update, as it’s one of the several things that are “defaulted” when an OTA update hits. Generally my first clue is the default orange color scheme, and confirmed by the prompt for the alarm on exit. If you see either, ambient lighting is reset as well.
Damn... that’s harsh. At least I try to keep the palm trees out of the pictures for those poor souls who insist on living where humans weren’t meant to live... ;-)
Windows down weather here in So. TX this week ( Dark Horse, no convertible option here).
In my car it goes from comfortable to frigid in about 10 seconds. I can roll down the windows and head out for a drive. A few minutes later the sensor will detect too much humidity and cycle the A/C on. Ok, no big deal right?
In the summer, I have to set the a/c to 76 or 77 F. In cooler...
Yeah, we’re leaving the 7 weeks of winter, and entering the 45 weeks of summer, which includes a few weeks of pre-heat, a couple months of bake, a couple months of broil, followed by a prolonged bake.
Great looking car !
