We donāt have much control over how much the cost is in European countries, but, as you likely well know by now the current batch of - Iāll call them āconstitutional, socialist democraciesā ; essentially the non dictatorships are starting to run out of other peopleās money. Iād tend to agree...
At least in Texas the majority seem to try and go the speed limit or reasonably above it. There are exceptions, but itās at least a bit more reasonable than the vastly overcrowded US east coast.
well... last time I was on an a-bahn was ā11? or so. I was a bit surprised by the number of...
IMO, 500,000 caravaners canāt be that wrong, can they? Iād follow the European tradition of connecting a trailer that is WAY too big for the towing vehicle, and set out on the a-bahn!
But, donāt sell the Alps or Dolomite passes short. Riders and drivers secretly love caravaners and tiny Fiat...
True. Monster bill is different for different people. Thereās a youtube video floating around entitled something along the lines of ā$5,000 for a new tail lightā
Not a joke. F Series BLIS module is embedded in the tail light and if they crack and get water intrusion it causes a short, which...
Thanks for providing this insight, I think this will help folks decide on whether or not to get the warranty and some insights on which option if they decide. Info from that side of the counter is super helpful ! š»
<raises hand> Why? Picture you see show pristine air filters and clean plexiglass. How long do you think it stays that way? They will be dirty, dusty, full of debris in hours. Then you just manufactured another upkeep item.
Until someone says āstress cracks! NO WARRANTY FOR YOU!ā Whether there is impact damage or not. :-/ ( Itās not just the Mustangs, dealers love to do this in Raptor world too. Some pretty obviously have not been impacted ).
I have one aftermarket warranty experience with one offered by...
It depends. If youāre going to thoroughly compromise the warranty with mods, donāt waste your money. But, if youāre commuting and need to keep close to stock or just want to keep it that way, the Ford ESP can save you money if something unfortunate happens. I got one on my ā17 Rap that runs...
Unless you have Pirelli Trofeos with >1500 miles on them, youāll be fine. Respect it and gradually get used to it.
This aināt our previous generationās Mustang, itās orders of magnitude superior to the s197 & Fox body ( the v8 Fairmont ). This thing has solid traction and stability control...
Honestly, Iām a little concerned about a vehicle that doesnāt have some tell tale odd noise. If this noise only on startup and goes away, Iād report it, get it looked at and monitor for it getting worse.
Obviously if it gets worse or changes conditions under which you hear it, then report back...
_when_ I had the Trofeos, right up through about 2 hours ago
I tried to keep them 31-33 cold PSI based on the outside temp. They arenāt supposed to see north of 38PSI hot. This is for spirited driving on the street in Texas heat.
Itās not as hot now so Iām closer to about 32psi at about 80F...
It does work. I holed one of the OE Trofeos about 5 days back and was watching the psi drop precipitously... I got the alert about 26psi, maybe 25.
Good news: the supplied air compressor works. Itās not fast, but it works.
Better news: I had already taken delivery of my aftermarket spare...
I donāt think Ford uses soy based wiring. Rodents do this to all car/truck/etc. wiring
UPDATE: The vehicle manufacturers were victorious
Rodents will eat pretty much everything. Iāve had bike harness chewed through partially and had mud dawbers build nests in my bikes air intakes.
Itās a...
