  1. Do you store your car in winter and why if or not

That was 2 Mustangs ago, and last century and a much more climate friendly relocation.
  2. How much of the GT/DH power is actually usable by the everyday driver?

That’s a trick question, because there is no such thing. I’ll have _enough_ horsepower when I can spin both rear tires from corner exit on the front straight all the way through the last brake marker.
  3. Do you store your car in winter and why if or not

First, that Cobra is --SHARP--. As a recovering former DMV’r I can answer this. I can remember campaigning the Fox body ’90 GT, then the ’97 SVT Mustang year round. I would not exactly call that ā€˜fun’ but it was challenging. I had a set of Yokohamas on the GT, took the wife out one night...
  4. My Car Would Not Start. Please Help

Yeah, I’ll bet it’s the battery, especially given your use case. I’d ensure you have a fully charged battery and disconnect/reconnect. Did FordPass give any alerts prior? did you get a ā€˜remote features disabled’ or ā€˜deep sleep’ alert? If you have her on a charger it’s curious for sure...
  5. 2024 Mustang GT remote start problems?

Mine has stalled a few times and had to be restarted. It’s super infrequent, and zero chance it’s going to be reproducible. I remote start almost always, I think since July it’s been... 4 times? I restart and move on.
  6. license plate compliance

y’all are asking to be f'd with. I’m glad you have been relatively citation free over the years, but decades ago, I got spanked with exactly this infraction, after a deer strike; I had my plate on the windshield and procrastinated on reinstalling the plate bracket. Once was more than enough...
  7. S650 Mustang -Keep hands on steering wheel message

This looks very much like one module is not ā€˜talking’ to the other. Think about this, if you’re going down a straight stretch of road; I10 east of Houston, TX130, and many more, the camera ā€˜sees’ the road is straight and that steering input will be minimum, so it’s basically generating false...
  8. Spare Tire Option

I mean... back in the Olde Days, scores of the Fox Body drag racers at MIR would run a pair of donut spares on the front...
  9. Do you store your car in winter and why if or not

No. Instead, I moved to a climate where humans were meant to live. ;-)
  10. S650 Mustang -Keep hands on steering wheel message

It’s not just this, you have to provide input the care is NOT doing. On long straights, unless there’s a road obstacle or something, the car tends to eerily predict my lane position pretty well. So, I just drive just a touch more slowly and resist the inputs ever so slightly to counter this...
  11. White smoke on Startup

HAH! That’s nothing. The Ecoboost F150’s / Raptors do this x1000 after idling for a period of time. Next start up is a white ā€˜smoke’ show; it’s really condensation, but it would be far more disconcerting than this small amount. If you’re not smelling coolant or oil, you’re good.
  12. Intense Lime Yellow Metallic - anyone ordering it?

That’s saying a LOT. Shelter Green: Relive the 1970’s, the only thing missing is a vinyl roof and fake wood paneling on the sides.
  13. New SYNC Update Broke Custom Colours

Maybe a sync reset would do it? I don’t remember the version, but the last update I got was late October and it darn sure broke my custom colors - but then, so does a FORSCAN module update. Try the sync reset and see if you can avoid a service department visit. I’d take a video with your...
  14. Crackling Noise

That looks like body trim underneath driver’s door.
  15. Ford is cutting costs on the 2025+ Mustang

Not until there is a substantial upgrade to the power generating infrastructure in Texas. During the summer peak, we’re already at 101% capacity. We keep inviting in businesses in major urban areas and importing libs from far flung coastal areas and not doing anything for the infrastructure...
  16. Toolkit to do basic stuff on the Mustang

    @Skye’s post #3 should be a sticky.
  17. Toolkit to do basic stuff on the Mustang

Don’t buy individual component sockets / wrenches... well, see below. Lowes has the former Sears Craftsman line and they’re a good bang for the buck tool. get 1/4ā€, 3/8ā€ and 1/2ā€ socket drivers. Most of your needs will be covered by the 1/4ā€ & 3/8ā€ drive sockets, so get sets of 1/4ā€ and 3/8ā€...
