I have it. It helps you make big power and not lose as much power in the heat for sure. I did not install it, but I can tell you it's more than a bit of a challenge.
I have the stage 2 whipple with bigger heat exchanger. There's now a shĂt ton of coolant lines. all over the place. the front...
My neighbor has a harbor freight low profile 3 ton that has to be 7 or 8 years old. I have a 3 ton H/F Badlands- it's too tall for the MDH, but I can use the factory-ish jack to get it high enough to get the badlands underneath and take over.
I really need ramps I can use with the HP Dark...
I sympathize. A couple years ago I nailed an absolute crater in my wife's Lincoln. It has 21" wheels.
It was my fault, no excuses. I was lining up to pass someone and just didn't have time to react. It was a hard enough hit that it jolted the car, so I found her TPMS screen and watched for...
You can get away with a cat back. Oh, and wheels, tires so long as they are the same approximate dimensions as stock. A lot depends on your dealer, and whether or not they're bringing in some regional rep to inspect - like a blown motor or similar expensive repair.
Most of them are going to...
Just keep in mind, your powertrain has built in fuses, so to speak. Right now, the fuse is your rear tires. If you go to a sticky enough tire, all that power is going to look for the path of least resistance and the next likely breakable is going to be your half shafts.
Street tires...
A lot of things can tank your insurance rate.
Poor credit score or a lot of debt.
previous DUI
misbehavior by a member of your household.
a stretch in prison
IF you have a child living with you, regardless of what they drive, you get charged for them possibly driving the super expensive car...
Yeah, that's all fun and games until you tick off the wrong driver blowing past them or rolling up on any state trooper from any state. Also, every nit wit Honda civic with a Fart can and N2O wants to fight.
Plus, I got a few windows down sound levels over 112db, which is not hearing safe in...
Apologies @Cobrakit , I didn't see this. I use the widest body panel removal tool I can to pop those clips out. Some are shaped like a narrow putty knife, some like a mini crowbar, but, they're plastic, so you won't run as much risk of marring up your trim as with a sharp screwdriver.
We need some more Ayatollahs to slay.
I paid $2.90 / gallon for 93 from QT before this started and it's now about $4.30 locally, and a shop hard, travel far to score that last penny per gallon it's around $4.10 and ditto, both cars and truck run super, and both my bikes are 91+ octane. As...
The s/w headers with cats are 'modular'. You can swap the cats in/out with a couple supplied pipes, no reciprocating saw required. I understand the Kooks cats are integrated; meaning you cut them out(?) or buy the whole catless section.
The way the shop explained to me, the stainless works headers make it easier to swap cats in / out as needed so that's the direction I went. Just in case. So I got the catted S/W headers, but installed the headers with the bypass section.
The sound is a little unrefined, as you might expect and I have it running into the stock resonator & mufflers with active exhaust. Quite mode doesn't sound bad, but, sport and track are raspy at times. It's a 'good' sound, of course, but not in the same way that a screaming Ferrari sounds...
I just paid this out; install cost me $1080+ tax. So, whatever the headers, o2 extenders etc. cost, add on to the 1-1.5k-ish.
so all in, I did about 3300 total for catted headers with cat delete merge pipes installed.
