You had warped rotors at 22k miles?
Double ewe.
Tee.
Eff.
So, if we're recapping here:
a while back you had a vibration in the steering wheel only while stopping.
- point of question: did you also feel this in the brake pedal?
You replaced the rotors, the steering wheel vibration is...
Used? did you replace the rotors?
Did the car shake from 75-85 at this time as well, or was that smooth?
When you say the interior vibrates, is it just that the mirror is buzzy ( a LOT of s650 owners report this, especially handling pack models ), slight vibes in the whole cabin, vibrates...
IMO, the Ford 'mode customization' is in it's toddler years. Just past infancy, still plenty of development to do. A modern sport bike will have all manner of customization. Even Ducati, not exactly known for their reliability, have rock solid mode, display and customization in all manner of...
Nice. She's looking good for 33k. Rocking the Mustang GT in NoVA traffic is a feat itself. In snowfall - bold move.
Is it still 5 hours of rush hour per day?
You will have to work to stay at +10k and under and work HARD.
and once we have lines on the cooling enhancements, we can adopt them in the Peasant Dark Horse w/ HP. Right now it's more of a guessing game, there's limited feedback on problems / fixes. The 10r80 even with the HP cooler is one...
Have you driven a supercharged s650?
Remember that scene in Ford vs. Ferrari when Ken Mies drives the 427 GT40 for the first time?
That's kind of how it feels to drive a supercharged 302 s650. The handling pack just makes it stick more and what not.
You could always get the DHHP and buy...
I'm not sure the dual pump setup is required or "better" the Interchiller guy was pretty down on it. The whipple upgraded heat exchanger is objectively bigger, and they claim more effective.
I was wondering if I'd left the Whipple exchanger the default size and gone to the upgraded FI...
One of the modules makes a decision, very early on in the (I think) key on process and if it decides 'not enough battery', you get the tinny, center speaker sound. It doesn't really matter if you have a brand new battery at max strength or not, it matters what the module reads - rightly, or...
IDK if there is an easy way to track IAT2 and was going to ask.
I spoke to IC a few times, along with my shop. They are happy to help and suggest. On the street you would be ok. In high heat, they STRONGLY recommend their up level kit and intercooler bypass. That would simplify the plumbing...
Got Black Betty back this afternoon. No leak, the coolant was from the overflow - best possible outcome. After the initial pump cycling, the level in the reservoir settles and she seems to be stable. Right now I have the overflow tied off to see she will hold the current level. If not, we'll...
Every US manufacturer took a financial broadside going in on the EV business, only to find that US consumers don't want them without the tax breaks, hov lane access and incentives. Ford sunk millions upon millions on strategizing a way to sell their EV lineup at a loss while the ICE offerings...
Yup! I think the leak was keeping me from being able to get a good air purge on the system. Unfortunately, it's small enough that it just pools on the under tray, and then drips when there's enough coolant and enough of an angle to make it drain out. But, keep in mind mine is more complicated...
