I've had a few experiences with safelite and they were all bad.
1) tried to schedule replacement for the wife. 3 --MONTH-- backlog. went local.
2) tried to schedule for my Raptor. called, confirmed they had the windshield, showed up and guess what? They didn't. went local.
3) the last time...
HAHA !
A buddy of mine was at a light, many, many years ago in MD with a county cop high beaming him. He did exactly the same thing and you guessed it, cop caught an attitude and pulled him over. All of us told him he was high beaming our buddy. verbal warning ; IOW, I thought I could...
'Vette driver definitely NOT a Texas transplant. Texans be like "RAIN! OMG, what do I do now. I KNOW FULL STOP in the middle of the interstate. What is this SORCERY with wetness coming from the sky!" And like I said, if it's raining, there's going to be a tractor trailer with cab or trailer...
In what way?
My observation is that the Fords and Lincolns are the first to dim and last to activate. Are you saying that all the high beaming folks whose modern cars dim seconds later are Toyota drivers ;-)?
Double Ewe.
Tee.

You're from New Jersey?
Everyone in Texas uses their blinkers, sometimes MILES in advance of the turn :-)

TBF, all Texans with Mustangs should use slippery mode in condition other than bright sunshine. Yup, even partly cloudy. I cannot remember the last time it rained and there wasn't a tractor trailer with either cab or trailer hanging off one of San Antonio's overpasses. And the cars... OMG...

Like it or not, Lincoln is a luxury brand, complete with valet service and supposedly 'white glove' attention. My wife has one; I managed to cajole her out of her peasant S00b and into an MkZ AWD. It only took one test drive and she went from "I don't need a new car" ( S00b was 10 years old...
So how do vehicles like the Raptor R, GT500 & now the GTD manage to make warrantable for 100k cats?
It would seem to me that the stage 1 whipple ought to be able to work and not destroy the cats.
I get stage 2 and beyond is changing the equation, but how are the supercharged 5.2 cats able to...
YIKES!
When I was ... wow, this is really going back. 20th century ...
I took a truck to a local tire shop for a brake job. I didn't have a garage at the time and it was winter. The shop was only 2 miles, got brakes done, drove home. Drove to Walmart and back - 1.5 miles each way...
