Hopefully this thread won't go down the EV/anti government rabbit hole. Lets celebrate the fact we have a Gen 4 Coyote for at least one more generation of Mustang :)
For now, the latest is that Ford will offer the V8 "for as long as possible"...
The most likely reason is because it'd cost Ford many thousands of ÂŁÂŁ/$$ to crash test/homologate all the handling pack parts, which would just be added to the cost of the car, potentially making it unviable.
However, just as with the Mach 1, you'll be able to transform your Darkhorse with the...
Someone told him to stop at the Stop sign!
That really is a great colour. I'd still go Grabber Blue, then Yellow Splash, but this would be a close third. All 3 need the Nite Pony Package (in my opinion) though :)
RTR have come out swinging. Before S650s are even in customer's hands, not only have they shown their version of the S650 in the metal, but they've had an official launch event and now the car is on a massive cross country tour of aftermarket vendors and dealers. The Spec 2 has been all over...
I hope you're right Ace, it'd be pretty sad if the Gen 4 Coyote over here has less power than the Gen 3 in the Mach 1.
Having said that, we should still celebrate the fact we're offered a V8 in Europe.....even if it is neutered!

Let's hope this means S650 will stick around long enough to get a refresh with (another) revised Coyote. Perhaps we'll even get a V8 S750? Keep 'em crossed, folks!
“As long as we can offer a V8 we will,” he...
Good to have you here, Justin, and thank you for your thoughts and feedback. I took an interesting point from "REVan" Evan Smith's latest video. On the road, he commended the smoothness of the steering over rough LA highways, with none of the kickback you might expect. Perhaps this is the...
It seems strange that the changes to the steering have not resulted in positive reactions from reviewers.
If you've watched any of the new Aston DB12 videos, they made similar changes. A quicker rack, and removed the rubber isolators from the steering column. The steering in that car has had...
The Herrod Performance R-Spec was one of my favourite S550s........I have a 1/18 Grabber Lime version by GT Spirit as that was as near as I was ever going to get to one!
I'm pretty confident we'll see similar versions of Herrod S650s. Rob Herrod has already been in the US spending time in the...
Looks like Evan Smith got a Yellow Splash GT for his media drive. Odd that it's got a body-colored rear spoiler, as the car has the Nite Pony Package, the rear spoiler should also be black. Still looks awesome though! I've asked if he can confirm the date the video embargo is lifted.
Whilst I personally think his videos could do with being more professional and slick, he's a Mustang enthusiast who's managed to make a living out of his passion. Good on him, I wish I could do the same.
As for the video, the exact same one was posted by Steeda, so SM may not have filmed it...
