I'm thinking this would be primarily for markets where the V8 alone will struggle in the not too distant future.....Australia, Europe, but if it works for the rest of the world, there's no reason the US wouldn't get it.
In the UK, they've dropped the Ecoboost (since 2019) as sales were 80/20...
And if it's still using the V8, that makes me very happy!
It seems Jim Farley is happy to (indirectly) talk about future Mustang products. He did, if you recall, post on social media asking if Ford should be a roadgoing GT3 (aka the GTD).
Farley reiterated that the company is perhaps more...
Oh man! That's gorgeous! That's exactly how I'd spec mine (with a 10-speed......what transmission do you have?).
Huge congratulations! Your job now is to post as many photos in this thread as possible!! :)

There are often "leaks" from paint suppliers (they'll update their websites with the forthcoming model year colors) so you could wait for this and...
Thanks for that, Ericc, I stand corrected! GT3 specs appear to be much more lenient than the old Prototype class. For example, there's no limit on engine size! (having now done a little research)
That being said, I'm sure the business case for this wouldn't have stood up without the race car...
Absolutely, I hope some of this filters down to a more realist model, whether that be badged as a Shelby (unlikely) or another DH variant.
Me, I'd take that 800hp 5.2 and 8-speed transaxle and pop it under this :)
It seems many are missing the point.
In order to homologate the GT3 race car they need to build x-number of road going versions. This is exactly how the current GT race car came about. In fact, So many people bitched about it being a V6 Ecoboost, without realising this was the only way Ford...
