i have some pictures of details that i have not seen anyone else cover
1. braking
no more booster, all braking is brake-by-wire
2. air filter
the air filter is smaller around and shorter than the GT350/Bullitt/GT500/Mach 1 cone filter. part number is FA-2066
3. adding oil
unlike the Mach 1...
@JAL i got the wheels today and test fit them on my EcoBoost. they fit great and the rear wheels have a palm's thickness of space between the rear edge and the shock. the front wheels don't hit anything, either
if he's around the Cave Creek Road and Carefree Highway intersection, i'll probably see him. i see a FJG Mach 1 around often, and plenty of McLarens and Lamborghinis
you might be hard pressed to find a '24 Mustang that isn't sold. of the ones that have come in to my dealer so far, 100% have been sold orders (though, there's only been 1)
only way i can think of for them to void your warranty in the situation you provided is the ring gear shatters or something while driving, seizes the diff, and trashes the driveshaft and trans output
warranty is only void if what you modified can be confirmed to be the cause of failure (on factory warranty). extended warranties can be void if you stare at the company's phone number in a funny direction
does the order tracker say an ETA of 09/07 - 09/20? if so, yours might be on the same train as mine, HWill's, and AZStangGang's. i post updates about the shipping of mine in the thread i made about my DH.
eyyy train buddies! mine is in Clovis, NM as well. was told today that Clovis BNSF yard is huge and one where they take apart and put together new trains to go out.
last update was 16:37 and it's currently 23:08. last reported in Clovis, New Mexico, going alongside the US 60/70/84 (yeah it's 3 different numbers for some reason???)
i am 99.999% sure that fender and suspension geometry has not changed with the S650. i also really think the amount you lowered it had a big part on your issues. the 2015-2020 GT350R had 19X11" front wheels with +24mm offset (which is why i went with those specs, they're known to work)
