  1. Does anyone know why Ford deleted wireless charging for S650 MY25?

You know us old guys, just wonder off in any direction until the nurse finds us.
  2. Trying to choose a license plate.

Sorry, I'll stop now. Call it free education
  3. Trying to choose a license plate.

We are not as crime free as people make out. We don't have much gun crime. But, get this, it has increased a lot since that woman banned many legal guns. Who woulda thunk it? Our original inhabitants had colonisation a hell of a lot easier than Native Americans and others. Some minor skirmishes...
  4. Brake Pedal "creak" Noise

If it's not a metallic scraping sound it's usually pad noise and nothing to worry about. We used to use CRC Brakleen on the pads to get rid of it.

I'd love to be able to own and shoot handguns. But we have a lot of people here who are dangerous enough with rifles. Our gangs have quite a few handguns and other illegal stuff. Our cops are good at losing their Glocks too. But, we have had full autos used in a couple of murders, which is very...
  6. Brake Pedal "creak" Noise

Does this creak happen when you are stationary, holding it on the brakes and very slightly ease the pressure to let the car creep forward? If so, mine does it, and it's only a resonance of the pads vibrating on the rotor.
  7. Brake Fade

I was thinking about this, and it sounded like when the old style brake boosters lost vacuum and you had no assist. The Mustang appears to have an electronic booster pump as part of the ABS. Perhaps that is intermittantly failing?
  8. Stereo vs Surround Setting

I've been running surround for the past week, it's a lot better, especially bass. Job Done.

Nice. I've thought about getting a nice 80's car as a hobby. I saw a magnificent Alfa Spider at a Lotus dealer next to my Cupra dealer. I was so taken by that thing I didn't even notice the Ferrari Roma next to it. Then reality set in, and memories of 80's cars and rust.
  10. Trying to choose a license plate.

I'm in NZ, and no, neither we or Aussies have open carry of any firearm. You have to belong to a pistol club to own a handgun. Military style semi auto rifles are effectively banned, and all semi autos have a ten round capacity limit. Mostly thanks to our beloved ex-Prime Minister Jacinda...
  11. Brake Fade

Fade occurs when the brakes are overheated. This does not sound like that. Whatever it is, it needs urgent attention from your dealer.
  12. Are any aftermarket companies making trim to replace the fake carbon fiber stuff in the interior?

The only thing I'd change is the centre tunnel, it's too big to just be matt plastic. But I don't want shiny CF at over $US2k.
  13. Are any aftermarket companies making trim to replace the fake carbon fiber stuff in the interior?

Yugos were some of the first cars to have heated rear windows. Kept your hands warm while pushing them. They also had rear window washers and wipers, to clean off the dead bugs splat.
  14. Front parking sensors

Episode whatever of "days of our sensors". I found a car audio shop that does sensor installs. He seems knowledgable and gets mostly good reviews. He's sourcing a canbus switching device to arm the existing set up according to vehicle speed. That should be the tidiest solution to the falsing.🤞
  15. It’s been a while since other drivers throw compliments to us on our car…..kinda’ nice, you know?

Just mention the rare earth guzzling POS slot car he drives. Tell him Tosla drivers would qualify for Olympic womens teams on testosterone levels. My apologies to any Tesla owners here in advance.
  16. Trying to choose a license plate.

A live one. All rattley and bitey? I'm not visiting you. Sorry. I nearly crapped myself at a Phuket Snake show. The size of those King Cobras!
  17. Trying to choose a license plate.

I had TOY 2 on a modded MX5, my girlfriend got a bit sick of being asked if she was Toy 1. I don't bother with them now though, too easy to remember if you're being naughty. There was an excellent one a while back, 1 l 1 l 1 l, with our plate font it couldn't be clearly read by speed cams.
  18. OEM Brake Pads

Who's used ceramics on a street car, and how are they?
