its because of the Pirelli Trofeo RS tires. you can't mount or drive on them in the cold or else they could get damaged. the same thing was true with the Mach 1 with Handling Package and any GT500 with the Pilot Sport Cup 2s
i was in a similar boat, except i ordered a Dark Horse with a plan for a GT if i couldn't get it. the difference between the two was about $3000 or $4000. with that small of a gap, jumping to a Dark Horse with all the cool extras it gets makes sens
it needs more negative camber or a higher ride height or more offset, from factory the Mustangs that have 20" wheels have a slightly taller ride height for this exact reason. you can run 19X11" fronts with no issue apart from some slight rubbing at steering lock if your sidewall is tall enough
always happy to help, i'll be sure to update the list once you guys have the missing ones listed. do you have any of those M-5200-DHE kits? might be interested in getting one of those sometime soon-ish
it depends on what winter tires you're looking at. summer tires are generally offered in a lot more widths so don't worry about that too much. there's so many factors, i encourage you to do your own research on tires and wheel widths, there's no end to the forum posts online that may lead you to...
really up to you. just know that 20" wheels will have a rougher ride than 19". i can't recommend my setup because it's 19X11" front, 19X12" rear and the rear tires alone are ~$1500 to replace both. i do recommend something like a 19X9.5" front, 19X10" or 19X11" rear setup, because that gives you...
im sure there's a tire that is alright for both, but any more than "alright" is asking the impossible. what makes a good summer tire makes a horrible winter tire and vice versa
depends on where you live. if you're not in the southwest (phoenix, san diego, etc) you will need different winter tires. if you are in the southwest or generally somewhere that does not get below about 40F when you drive, you can use some of the "summer" compounds year-round. i swear by the...
went ahead and updated the list on the main post, it now has some colors and lists the ford performance and lethal performance prices. everything is 10% cheaper on lethal performance, except GT active cat-backs with 5" tips, those are 10.01% cheaper. oddly some kits are not listed
been doing some 0-60 track apps recently, looks like it's around the 4.2 second range (tested on new pavement, drag strip mode, tires being driven on for 25 minutes). also went ahead and re-formatted and updated the list on the main post
yeah, so much money. also, i'm really on the fence about it because i hate the raspiness that X-pipes make. H-pipes for life
yeah, it's pretty awesome they thought of the non-ae owners. those active exhaust systems are actually really reliable, they've been doing it in the Mustang since 2015...
