Another amusing thing recently.
A Polestar set an EV range record of 581 kms on a charge. On mostly flat roads in Norfolk and an average speed of 25 kmh!
A few days later a Star Pole (Polish Rally driver) set an ICE record in a Skoda Superb of 2831 kms on one tank. That's 2.6litres per 100kms...
Interesting vid, clearly some form of forced induction coming up.
I particulrly liked his comment about wanting to drive it any chance he gets.
I can relate.
Well, call me stupid, but I like the idea of my cars next owners getting a good vehicle that's been properly cared for.
Especially seeing the last two were bought by friends.
I'll pass on the Ford wisdom.
It's the McLaren name that has significence. Especially in the US, remember the Canam series whitewash?
Made and designed? Where are those turbo V8's from again?
It's not 360, but 5.0 ALM has a video showing installation of a reversing camera as a front cam. It seems to work well when aimed down to show the front of the car.
I couldn't get the same wireless cam, but did get a wired version which I'll put in when the weather improves.
Report to follow.
That might be stretching it Mr Dog. They produced the odd nugget from the piles of crap they foisted on the public.
Granted, some had US V8's. AC, Jensen, Bristol, etc. Which is only fair, they gave the Merlin to Packard.
That's a weird thing, cops buy the same as their patrol cars for personal vehicles. I never did it.
But my wife's Skoda looks like a plain patrol car front on.
