Yeah, "I just use the detector to remind me if I'm speeding" line. They just leave out the "in case there's a cop around" bit.
But, they've saved me so many times, they've paid for themselves many times over.
Yes, I meant the Pommie and Aussie engines which were undersquare or square. From memory Ford UK were the first to go significantly oversquare with their crossflow engines
How much clearance does it need to fit?
That Sarah n Tuned lady had the same problem on a V8 swapped Celica, she cut out a 1/2 section of tube in the middle of the brace. If it's reinforcing in tension and compression, not bending forces, it could work.
Much warmer than recent cars we've had, but it's a much smaller cabin area.
It's very comfy, and the a/c works very well when needed. Probably the nicest interior from a comfort point of view that I've had.
You don't seriously think a chain shouldn't wear after that sort of mileage? I'd get 20 - 30,000kms out of a bikes drive chain because I had an auto oiler. People that relied on lubing chains themselves sometimes chopped a chain out in 10 -15000kms.
Chains and sprockets of all types are...
You had low revving V8's, we had inline, generally undersquare, 4's and 6's, which had much longer chains.
The only car I've owned that had cam chain issues was a Lada Niva, also known as the Fiatski, that needed chain adjustment every 3 months or so. Most issues I've heard of in Euro V6's and...
I hate S/S, just because.
When the lights change and there's a cyclist running the red, I want instant acceleration, not letting him get away while the engine wakes up.
(I'm just kidding, whoevers monitoring it up "there")
I doubt that. Timing chains are splash lubricated, they stay soaked in oil for much longer than an engine is stopped in a typical stop/start episode.
Our '70's and 80's era patrol bikes and cars would sit engine off for up to half an hour or so and then get fired up and rung out in a pursuit...
I was surprised at the premium quote for the Mustang, at $1260 pa it was a bit less than I was paying for my 2020 Cupra Ateca. I expected much more given the Mustangs reputation.
But then I noticed that my wife's shopping basket was the same despite being half the value.
I queried it and they...
The thing with Top Gear, and Clarkson, was that it wasn't a really car show for petrolheads.
I remember Clarkson ranting about the Ferrari he was driving didn't show the speedo when you were using Sat Nav, he went on and on, while we could clearly see the digital speed display right in front of...
