@DrRaphael ...... Since you asked - here's my opinion. First, just my opinion, if you modified the air filters that would not void any "rear end" warranty claim as those systems are not related. BUT if you added different shocks, sway bars, jack kits I think you would be denied. Also if you...
@DrRaphael ..... almost any modification to the engine unless done under approved Ford Dealer supervision or approved Ford 3rd party supplier will void your warranty.
WOW.... I can't believe the air time this has gotten. Remove the stupid and inaccurate sticker already. BTW you think your GT has 480 or 486 HP and your DH has 500 HP.....MAYBE - because as anyone who has ever built engines (I have) or knows squat about HP KNOWS that there is a 5% difference...
@Cauf E. Bean ..... same for me. I haven't found a way yet. Small comfort but friends with vehicles other than Fords tell me they have the same pita feature in their cars. My biggest concern is 1. is this information relayed to the insurance company? I have a good grip of the wheel but still get...
@DrRaphael ..... yeah that's just a trophy shop plaque sign. Peel it off, it's just embarrassing like guys with 4 or 6 cylinder engine putting a V8 badge on their cars.
@CaesarX ..... are you not subject to random testing in EU countries? Also, I would check to make sure you don't violate that 5 YEAR powertrain warranty as that is a very good warranty for you and for resale.
@MustangNoob ....... respectfully, the Mustang BBQ tic is not normal as there is about a 50/50 chance of getting one - apparently for no known reason. That said, Ford has issued a TSB stating that the tic - also found on other Ford vehicles with the Coyote - will not result in future engine...
@PBBLASTER ..... the engine has a strut to strut tower brace (strut brace) that runs parallel to the firewall and front of the engine connecting the two shock towers, I have heard the two firewall to shock tower strut braces that run our from the firewall to each strut tower referred to as a K...
The 10R80 is a great transmission. The Ford version may exhibit a whining noise due to the straight cut gears but that is not harmful in any way. Apparently GM put sound deadening in or on the casing of their version, which greatly reduces the whining noise.
@HeyMoe! ..... If you have fully paid for it and have the title you could leave it at the dealer's without fear of them selling it. BUT - you had better check to see if you have insurance for it because once you have the title unless it is in for service - or - you have a signed agreement for...
@20ducks .... likely just fine. What microns does it filter down to? Probably much like the Mobil 1 "synthetic filter. I believe it filters down to 2 microns. Both expensive but very good. How good do you want and why? Longer change interval? I use Ford FULL synthetic and Ford oem filter. I...
@P2 and @WhiteShadow626 ..... my brother in law has a Dodge Caravan. It is awesome for what he needs if for. It's roomy, (for all the kiddie crap he needs to haul) and is inexpensive for what he gets and quite reliable. He has two two little girls. When they grow up they both want Mustangs. I...
I bought a 2024 Mustang GT.
I got exactly what I wanted - well almost exactly - as I would have liked the active valve exhaust but I can solve that with a Valvetronic aftermarket. It is friggin' fast. It looks great. It handles really well. It is technologically advanced. Most of all when I...
@DeluxeStang ..... you raise a lot of thought provoking ideas, well done. I have one thought regarding price. The 2024 is not a rebranded 550 - there is a lot of new engineering in it (more about that in a second, if I may). Here's my thought: as I look at the price of everything from houses to...
@robvas..... respectfully, consider this: there will soon be a road tax on most EVs as model for model they are about 40% heavier, their tires wear-out about 50% faster, many jurisdictions are going to limit them to the first floor of parking garages, some jurisdictions are going to limit the...
