Not for 55K all in theyāre not, and frankly Iām a pulley change and some tinker time away from those numbers. No interest though. Just a quick fun street car.
How many lbs is your tensioner at?
Iām at 110, my car only pulls power if TC is on
What size belt/pulley? Should be 3.75ā and 82ā
6 ribs should be fine for 1000 ish
The best opportunity was before 2025 price bump release, people had ALL of may/june/July to buy one with little to no ADM.
A dark horse is far more unique than a basic c8. But enjoy if you go that route
Went back to the track after whipple stage 2 install, air was decent 1200 D/A
I was really blown away by the MPH⦠stage 2 3.75 pulley and decided to call it a day, probably wouldāve went 9s had I went all out on my 1st pass or pulled my seats out.
Just sharing pics and vid for people not in...
The bulk of this is drive by wire, pedal mapping.
You need to really lay into the pedal. Think of it as 1st half is eco mode, 2nd half is the throttle map.
Get comfortable stomping it
Theyāve already put it out there⦠a mustang sedan and a mustang āraptorā off road.
Iām sure after the raptor mustang is out there will be rumbling for a raptor R mustang⦠with the predator drivetrain.
I maybe wrong, but I donāt think the warranty has anything to do with ford at all. It becomes on whipple.
Unless you buy the kit and install at the dealer before you take delivery of it brand new, then itās on the 1 dealer.
My bro has them for his gt500⦠one of the first things he did was take them off the car and put on reps from lmr.
Now they just sit in the corner of the basement, pristine for the 2nd owner.
No regrets here either. Previous mustangs were almost exclusively foxbodies, and a 2014 GT procharged.
10r80 whipple car is just a whole new animal. For my foxes to make 800wheel would easily 20maybe 30 or 40 grand into engine, blower kit etc..
The 24 is an EXCEPTIONAL value and a bargain...
Not yet but itās on my counter, I did put kooks LTs on before I had the whipple, didnāt want to risk any š± failure
Filled up in e35 roughly today with 3.75 pulley and BAP.
Tires yes, but not much suspension, almost all whipple cars seem to be cutting 1.4s and 1.5s⦠thatās getting it done for sure on stock gear.
You could possibly throw the whole catalog at it and not knock a tenth out of the hole.
Ok that makes sense, because I went and got fuel and ran around a bit and didnāt notice it.
Iāll see next time itās cold but, no worries I see.
What pulley/fuel are you on? Any timeslips?
