Ford just put out something interesting, 24H01, where they want 11 vehicles to have their left cylinder heads replaced, with the old ones being sent back to Ford for evaluation of some kind
i see tons of Mustangs come into my dealer and without fail, Yellow Splash is my favorite color on the 2024s. every time i see it, it makes me upset that Ford didnt offer it on the Dark Horse. i love the color so much that if Ford had it on the 2025 Dark Horse, i would be trading mine in for one...
my heart belongs to 2-door coupes, but a 4-door version would be pretty cool, especially if the rear doors are suicide doors like the F-150 extended cabs. also, considering how crazy the F-150 PowerBoost is and the fact its only a 3.5L V6, a hybrid 5.0L V8 would be awesome. even better would be...
only 2 real options
1. wait for the recall to be done
2. get a different vehicle
the dealer can face real serious fines of over 30k if they give you the vehicle with the recall still open, not to mention what trouble they would get into with Ford or the state. if they lie to Ford about doing...
i thought the phone number would be some cool easter egg, but no. according to the San Bernardino Area Chamber of Commerce website, that is the number for Kim Cooper at C&K Transportation
i could not hear a difference on mine, but you live in CA and there is something to note. Ford has an alternate version of the GT and DH active exhaust, with one probably being quieter for states like CA. if you PM me your VIN i can check the parts to see if that is the case
edit: uses the same...
i did an audit on what TSBs and SSMs still exist, also Ford released TSB 24-2129 which addresses a few things with SYNC 4 including the subjects of the now removed SSMs 51882, 51883, and 51896
that hood is probably fine, but I have never, ever seen a wing mounted as badly as that one before! also about the whining noise, if you have the 10-Speed auto, that's normal. it's the transmission fluid pump due to having straight cut gears. if you have the 6-Speed manual, i recommend taking it...
since the grill is paint to match (part number ends in "PTM") i am not 100% sure that it is Shadow Black/Absolute Black, Ford only says "high gloss black painted" and "Ebony Exterior Black", but the chances are pretty good that is is very similar or the same
it really depends on your feelings about brake dust. the Dark Horse brake pads shed so, so much dust even over the course of a week. gloss black wheels will start showing dust after about 3 or 4 days. 1 week and its bad, 2 weeks and it looks like it did before they were cleaned.
if you dont...
the weather was great and the drive to and from was something like 500 miles and 7 hours. not really a fan of how bumpy US-89 is for a while after the roundabout.
love the colors of the rocks and the scenery. even if i only spent like 10 minutes there, that trip was worth it. even if it did cost...
it would personally bug me to no end that the pattern and scale are different, but it's still really cool! honestly not sure why Ford blocked some of the holes on the stock grill
a 9 year old supercharged Mustang is bad enough, but the single oval exhaust is even worse and the fact the supercharger is a Roush one is just flat out no
