Gotta hold it down for a few seconds, but i still get short shifts once in awhile.
Also foot brake it as hard as you can if you get a tire on it, you’ll get 2300 rpm or more and it just seems way happier
Suspension pre loads nicely etc…
You’re creating an imaginary scenario… you could just as easily get pulled over by a tall blonde sexy lady cop that decides to have her way with you in the back seat.
My scenario is probably even more likely to happen.
also I’ve cleared it with an old accessport (married to a focus st) and the...
The economy is going bananas for a few years, also why prices are higher.
poor people have gotten the biggest income raises, and more of them buy mustangs than bmw’s or corvette’s… another contributing factor to the price push.
also I’m gonna have to dig around because I thought only M4...
From the outside perspective of someone who has kooks longtubes, occasionally gets a check engine light, and then clears it.
its seriously no big deal, why are you so overly concerned if you get a light in the dash.
Hell people have gotten false check engine lights stock and just need to clear it.
You guys are probably too focused on MSRP…
Think payments over 84 months …. It’s like maybe a 50 dollar hike… the accountants are smart and perhaps they’re finding the absolute limit of balancing margins vs revenue.
anyways highly recommend buying a 24gt and a whipple.
This thread hasn’t even begun to entertain the thought that….. the mustang is also going away.
Not saying it will happen, but no one knows the future.
You’re trivializing the new interior, engine, trans updates as well as fresh sheet metal.
fox platform technically is 79-04… 25 years. But people have no problem distinguishing fox,SN95, new edge.
we're now S550, S650 and can easily extend this another decade into the S750.
point is they are...
The truth is the 2024 should have cost EVEN MORE. but they sold it to us at bargain prices knowing they can subsidize the changes over the next few years.
that explains the price hikes to a T. And also is what Chevy did with original $59,999 C8s at launch. That are now 75k or whatever
I interpreted your use of “value” as cheap.
And I’m 💯 serious… the only possible in between would perhaps be a 911 turbo or GT3.
Unless something new comes out. Eray/Z06 would be the only vette comps… the pedestrian c8 is beyond played out.
1st the mustang isn’t a “value” car… it’s a top tech baller status symbol. For people that are going to buy a Lamborghini or McLaren in a few years but this is their stepping stone.
Name one….. my Whippled 24 GT was 55k all in.
There is simply nothing that could begin to compare at that price...
I’m a huge believer that if you’re gonna have catastrophic engine/trans failure from a manufacturer defect it will be in the 1st few thousand miles.
I went stage 2 at around 3500 miles.
I got the whipple, it’s excellent.
I would never do turbos aftermarket for a street car.
the test I’ve seen shows that the roush is quite a step down from the whipple in HP/Tq
Nothing is gonna do great on 93 though…. That’s barely adequate N/A.
So glad I got mine last year, almost 5K more for my exact spec. And I have barely any options.
That would’ve been the line in the sand where I would NOT have bought the car too.
Yes, the engines are speed density, so not gonna gain much in the tune.
The roush tune is likely to make even less power as the kit states it comes with 35# injectors. Even max effort it will be hundreds of HP/TQ less if that’s the case.
What a lazy launch.
A whole year to vet this, no dyno, no track times…
matter fact VMP put the same 2.65 TVS benchmarked against a whipple with a bigger pulley for less boost… results were a disaster.
