  1. 2024 Dark Horse Mustang Dyno Results (6-Speed Manual) - by Middleton Motorsports

It needed to be half second quicker, better block, heads, cams, intake, DISPLACEMENT ffs. And it’s neck and neck with a stock GT (dark horse’s conundrum) They would have needed to run 11.5s at 122 plus off the showroom floor and preferably a tenth or 2 quicker than that. and I’m not sure a...
  2. 2024 Dark Horse Mustang Dyno Results (6-Speed Manual) - by Middleton Motorsports

You completely misunderstand the point. And that’s ok.
  3. 2024 Dark Horse Mustang Dyno Results (6-Speed Manual) - by Middleton Motorsports

A porche 911 GT2 Is marketed as a track car (and is) It also rips off 9 sec 1/4s stock, same with McLaren’s etc.. that’s more my point, build a track car by all means… it still needs to perform.
  4. 2024 Dark Horse Mustang Dyno Results (6-Speed Manual) - by Middleton Motorsports

No, we’re in America. 1/4 mile is the 1. Standard metric we use. it’s not overblown at all… it IS the point it’s why the gt350 was such a dud, ford can build a badass track car … fine… it still needs to put down respectable 1/4 mile times The GT350 was D.O.A.
  5. Roush - You there?

They are supposed to announce something in July. Frankly day late and a dollar short. we live in the instant gratification world now, they’ve made themselves irrelevant rather quickly, saleen as well. they needed to be hyping products LAST July for when cars were beginning to rollout.
  6. Centrifugal Superchargers for 2024+ Mustang S650?

I would think there will be something some point soon, but I would expect it to cost more than a whipple kit. no reason whipples tune shouldn’t get cloned somehow and you’re gonna be limited to the same injectors/load scaling. just speculation but that’s how I could see it playing out.
  7. First performance upgrade recomendations

I went springs, spacers, stop the hop bushings and dowels, headers and whipple. In that order. and I’d recommend that route 10 times out of 10.
  8. DIY Whipple install discussion, advice, tips, and lessons learned

I want to add, the drive ability is basically stock or better, all modes. With the exhaust on quiet and the windows cracked you’ll get a hint of sweet sweet compressor sound … but that’s it. I’m told the more you pulley it down you’ll get a little more but I have no need to. the 1st thing...
  9. DIY Whipple install discussion, advice, tips, and lessons learned

The only other issue I had was my heat exchanger brackets that mount to the posts they give you needed to be clearanced/slotted a bit. it did take me awhile, I must be slow, did the install alone except for a 2nd set of hands to lower the blower in place. off to do some light road testing and...
  10. Clicking Sound in Engine Compartment

    Direct injectors ā€œclickā€
  11. Roush TVS supercharger for 2024 Mustang S650

Pricing, MPH, and ET are all that matter. But I’m biased.
  12. DIY Whipple install discussion, advice, tips, and lessons learned

Put a few more hours in today, i had to make a few trips to the store for, anti seize, silicone lube spray, loctite and 1/4ā€ 10mm swivel, i needed to get a 27mm socket too, but i probably could’ve just used my crescent in hindsight. with the exception of putting the lower on I’ve done this all...
  13. Horrible Factory Paint 😔 Two step correction and ceramic coating

I work in paint shop, orange peel is literally part of the process for reasons stated above. Ford is far more worried about any sealer being left in a visible spot or finger and handprint's getting baked in and painted, also issues with drips, runs, excessive dirt, boil outs, bad phosphate etc…...
  14. DIY Whipple install discussion, advice, tips, and lessons learned

Because the passenger side is the same. In a GT Halfshaft there is a taper in the metal towards the knuck… that’s where they snap (Only on the driver side thought, no taper on passenger. And the 350!axle is straight with no taper also, plenty of 8 and 9 second cars on a 350 driver side.
  15. Ford Asks Mustang Owners To Swap Engine Head

Maybe the 11 ARE dark horse engines ??šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
  16. First oil change...what a pain in the ass šŸ˜†

Any downsides to just leaving both shields off? high speed aero I suppose?
  17. DIY Whipple install discussion, advice, tips, and lessons learned

Yeah I’m going to put a GT350 axle in the driver side, good reminder though!
  18. DIY Whipple install discussion, advice, tips, and lessons learned

Sent whipple my tune req file at 1am in the morning. They just sent my tune already. So they are on top of business also ordered a griptech 3.5 pulley and pnp bap. Seems like returns diminish going much smaller than that from every dyno/ dragy test I’ve been seeing.
  19. Ford Asks Mustang Owners To Swap Engine Head

Talk about damned if they do/if they don’t people bitch incessantly about fords ā€œlack of quality etc…. Ford does a random post prod quality check and gasp…. People need to make something of that also.
  20. Ford Asks Mustang Owners To Swap Engine Head

Nothing burger, except the inconvenience to the handful of random cars. Definitely understand that’s a pain in the ass for them.
