it looks the same as when i did the lights
i would love to join that group, and even tried to make an account to do so, but...
Facebook and Instagram have seemingly permanently banned my e-mail, IP address, hardware ID, and who knows what else. my account gets suspended literally immediately...
i would go looking in the spreadsheet in the ACM page for something. also check out the forums of places for the F-150, Explorer, Focus ST/RS, and so on
as much as i would love to say that the stories of younger people being unable to drive manuals is false, my first-hand experience at a dealership says that it has a lot of truth to it still. i remember the time when someone brought in their GT350R and the lot attendant tasked with moving it was...
25, and the only non-Mustang i've owned was a Subaru Legacy when i was new to driving. i used to have a beautiful 2022 Mach 1, but my... inexperience, to put it lightly... caused me to no longer have it. i used the insurance money to buy a 2022 EcoBoost Stealth Package, then ordered a Dark Horse...
this is pretty dead in the water, now. turns out, the GTD has a special version of the instrument cluster programming that replaces the Dark Horse's 180mph speedometer for the 220mph one. no clue why they didnt just fix up the already existing one. if someone braver than me wants to buy an FDRS...
assuming we are talking about the center screen, there are some gauge differences, mainly the oil pressure domain being changed from 0-100psi to 0-175psi, boost gauge (if you enabled it) has a supercharger icon instead of a turbo, you get actual oil temp numbers instead of an unlabeled gauge...
yeah, it sucks we havent found anything about the DRLs yet, but think of the other things we found out along the way
2E and 2D are exactly the same, except one has the B&O text and the other does on the splash screen
already tried a bunch. they arent assigned to anything and end up giving SYNC a weird look with Lincoln fonts, and an F-150 in the fuel economy screen and a regular GT in the My Mustang menu. you can actually see what a bunch of those vehicles/programs are at this link...
2B = Generic Ford Logo
2C = Simplified Ford Logo that pulsates. looks to be designed for one of the 12" screens of an F-150 or Bronco
2D = GTD w/ B&O Logo
2E = GTD w/o B&O Logo
2F = Generic Ford Logo
30 = Generic Ford Logo
31 = Generic Ford Logo
its likely that nothing else is assigned and they...
its gotta be something obvious. we've been digging through the backrooms of codes to do something, but maybe it was staring right at us the whole time? i honestly dont know, but there has to be something, anything that does it!
i finally got a software number for a produced GTD LDCM. its P3HA-13B671-AG, which is the same as a 2024 job 2 and all 2025s. the HCM also matches a 2025. now im just getting confused here
the VIN you have is of one not in production. the one i recently found is done and built. this may prove to be a vital difference. i am also using it to see if i can somehow get suspension tuning to be a thing
i managed to find a VIN that was produced through a friend. from there, i used the tools i have access to, whether public or not, get this information. sorry about the information being so vague, i kinda have to do that to protect myself
the job 2s and later have a different LDCM software version. i was going to look to see what software version the GTD that has actually been produced has, but i think either Ford's system to see software versions is down or they have somehow blocked me. in any case, i am currently sifting though...
i am 90% sure i was so close to making some sort of discovery. i managed to find an actually produced GTD VIN, and was gonna check the as-built data. unfortunately, it looks like Ford's servers are down for maintenance and will be back up in about 10 hours
also, i figured out why he charges what he does for his services. a 2 day license to FDRS is $50. 30 day is $200. 365 day is $900. you also need a specific adapter, and if you want to buy the dealer stuff (VCM 3), thats another $1800. Bosch also makes one that is $2000. FDRS does actual module...
