  1. Front parking sensors

In the end I kept the sensors as is and fitted a cheap front parking cam. It's manually switched, but I can live with that.
  2. Whew!

When I was on Motorway patrol it was 20kmh over usually gets a ticket. Unless they were particularly stupid, or failed the attitude test. I did let a guy off 60 kmh over once. No traffic, late at night, no drink and I knew he was a race driver, had a good car too. Passed the attitude test with...
  3. Whew!

I'll be your internet friend. How's that?
  4. Valentine One Radar Detectors

You can choose how many you want according to what your local cops use. I have very few falses, and I know straight away they are false.
  5. Valentine One Radar Detectors

I have no audio delay with JBV1, it may be a settings thing. The team at V1 are still sharp as a tack, they finished and are refining photo radar detction after Mike left us.
  6. Valentine One Radar Detectors

I've only used V1's for 30 years now. First it was because of the arrows, but even when others got them, I stuck with V1 build quality. But the new Gen 2's are awesome, especially if combined with the JBV1 app. The best detection I've had was 5kms (3 miles) with two sweepers and some foliage...
  7. Whew!

    100 kmh limit.
  8. Whew!

Not here Mr Dog. Normally 10kmh tolerance, although they have had periods of 1 kmh over. Can't give away revenue. OZ is the same, if not tougher.
  9. Video: Can Richard Hammond Build an 800bhp Mustang Dark Horse in 48 Hours?

I watched that and wished I'd saved the time. I'm not really interested in Hamsters appointments and what his daughter is doing with bits of carbon trim.
  10. Three months experience with my "hated" S650

I love the screens and the driver interface with them. It's logical and quite simple compared to some Euros. I may end up hating them in a few years time when gremlins grow in them.
  11. Battery Voltage Question - 11.5 Volts When Off

I'd double check it with a multimeter. But 11.5 is low.
  12. Whew!

OK, I think I know what happened. I was telling the guys on V1 Discord about it. It seems that, while Stalker Radar can differentiate between largest target and fastest target, it's not always reliable. Sometimes the larger target will shadow a smaller, faster target. There's a big difference...
  13. Whew!

Still have to patch the donut shaped hole in it.
  14. Karma

On Monday we headed north to Aucklnd to catch up with friends, check out the new IKEA etc. We did a pitstop, actually pee stop my range is less than the car's these days, and as we headed off again an unmarked patrol car was just ahead of us. So it was a very legal drive from there. As we hit...
  15. Oil drain pan

Don't do what I did and think a 10 litre pan would be OK. It filled to a mm from the top. Every tried to slide out an oil pan without sloshing?
  16. FORD: One of the worst

To quote Enzo Ferrari when some journo bitched about build quality, " my cars are like a mistress, you want action, not perfection". Or the other quote, "you pay for the engine, everything else is free".
  17. FORD: One of the worst

In the safe? I keep it in a drawer. PS $NZ2000 for the 'Stang
  18. Whew!

Came home yesterday from a few days away. I had the closest call ticket wise, I saw a slow truck entering a left hand sweeper ahead, caught up to him at the exit and gave Bonnie some beans to pass. I was doing about X25kmh ( 25 over the limit) and saw a parked cop that the truck had been hiding...
  19. Rearview Mirror Adjustment

Whatsa inna da mirror, does not a matta.
  20. Anyone else struggled deciding between EcoBoost and GT for daily driver?

I don't think anyone has said they are not Mustangs. They are much more a Mustang than some 4 door EV. People are free to buy whatever they want, but we also free to state our preferences. No slight or offence intended.
