I couldn't agree more. I haven't driven in Germany, but from the hundreds of vids of Autobahn driving two things stood out; nearly always people clear the fast lane quickly, those that don't are often tourists. The other thing is the awareness shown by drivers on high speed runs. They start...
OK, the top line EV's are fast. But what gets me about ordinary EV owners is that they mistake instant low end thrust for power, and think that 0 - 100kmh in 6.5 secs is quick.

They'd say that anyone passing them is breaking the law. To which I'd say "you're not a cop". That usually ended the discussion.
Merry Xmas everyone. Just surfaced from a day of gluttony and borderline alcoholism.
I hope Santa was good to everyone.
My darling wife floored me with her gift.....a 3D Printer. I never had a clue, and I've been thinking of getting one for ages, but never pulled the trigger.
I bought her a high...
I had the front done from the rear of the vent forward, and the bumper along the boot (trunk) opening. I thought the rocker plastics would protect the rear guards.
It cost $NZ1200, and it was a custom fitting not precut PPF.
Seems to be fine so far.
