  1. Considering a Supercharger for 2024 GT – Can I Still Enjoy the Handling?

One thing is for sure if you go through the upgrade. You won't need the skid brake, but you might need new brake shoes very soon! Heck, even an Eco-Boost is capable o swapping ends if you're not careful. Imagine what 500+ more HP will do?
  2. Rokblokz Mud Flaps

It appears that Rokblokz is the only supplier of mud flaps for the 2024 Mustang (https://rokblokz.com/collections/ford-rally-mud-flaps/S650-Mustang-Options). The fronts went on rather easily without any issues. The rears however were a bit more cumbersome. The bottom connections use a OEM...
  3. My Last Mustang

You sound like my neighbor. He bought one of those Coleman $650 scooters, and replaced the engine with a Harbor Freight Predator V-twin with 22 HP. And then added a blower to it. Holy Moly Batman! Question: Can you buy slicks for that thing?
  4. Brake Pedal "Swoosh" Noise - Annoying!

That sounds like the bushing in the pedal's mounting. That you can lube sparingly with some silicon oil. I wouldn't use 3in1 or any other petroleum-based product.
  5. Quarter mile times

I'm seeing slightly worse than your figures in Drag mode where the boost pressure stays high longer. My best times on the street (Drag mode) are in the 13.5s, and I'm at ≈3,500 feet! This relates to about 25 more HP than the engine is rated for. All of the HP and torque figures I've seen, have...
  6. Quarter mile times

Is there anyone here, who has run their 2024 Eco-Boost through the 1/4 mile traps? I am aware the car mags always test the PP with its 3.55 gears, rather than the non PP with its 3.15 (like mine). That said, I'm getting times which don't seem real for the altitude (≈3,500 feet). The times I...
  7. Ecoboost lowering springs for Magnaride

I have no plans to change anything in or on my 2024 Eco-Boost. It is hard enough to get in and out of now! You don't sit in a Mustang, you wear it!
  8. Ford is done making boring cars

Everyone (or so it seems) wants nothing but a manual transmission to be installed in a Mustang, be darned that the 10R80 delivers faster lap and quarter times. Not only that, in Drag mode the 10R80 has already shifted by the time you get the clutch pedal to the floor! So what's the big deal...
  9. Oil change @ dealer?

My Mustang is too new to have an LOF, so I don't know what that charge will be? For my 2019 Ranger, for filter and oil, the bottom line is $115. Even Jiffy Lube is almost $80 (I don't use them!). Somebody is making a good profit.
  10. "Hands on the Wheel" Alert 🤬

I have a plain old Mustang Premium and the Hands of Wheel comes up button pushes or not. Odd me thinks!
  11. Radar Detector Hardwire Mirror Tap

Current draw isn't an issue. Older models detectors often drew about 350 mils, but half of that was regulator dissipation. The real issue with even late-model detectors is their non use of surface mounted devices. Yes, so do have them which is fine. The truth is, except for the antenna, you can...
  12. How many Mustangs have you had? (a funny story)

    Just two. A 1979 Turbo and a 2024 Eco-Boost.
  13. Radar Detector Hardwire Mirror Tap

What puzzles me (5V to 12V inverters availability or not) is why Valentine et. el. haven't designed a new detector which uses a USB port? The truth is, the basic stuff inside isn't as new and innovative as radar detector makers would lead you to believe. It is sort of changing the look of the...
  14. Missing nuts on top of strut

One comment. I bought an after-market brace from American Muscle for my 2024 Eco-Boost. It fits, it works, but there is an issue. Depending on the year, either plug 2 or plug 3 can't be removed without removing the brace. That's fine for a gear head, but imagine paying about 2 additional hours...
  15. What happened to Hill Start Assist?

Neither of my Ford products is manual, but the hill-hold feature works on both.
  16. Ford stops recall

Makes me wonder what excuse Stellantis will come up with to sell some 400+ days of inventory? They'd jump on a recall faster than a chicken on a June bug! If they could!
  17. Some info about Ford

More taxes? Sure, as the US is in debt up to its ears! Almost fifty trillion dollars worth! Sad part is, only about 40% of the national debt can be accounted for. Hummmm. Let's see, who is the richest person serving in Washington DC? Aha! All of them!
  18. How many are regretting

I do not regret buying my 2024 Eco-Boost Premium. Performance is more than adequate especially for the price I paid to obtain it. In order to get into the 3s to 60MPH, I would have had to cough up about $10K more for a GT. Plus, about 25% more for insurance, about 30% more for the extra quantity...
  19. Some info about Ford

Actuarial science really is a complex science! Problem is, most folks don't know enough about actuarial science to make a judgment call about it, yet here we are! Insurance companies are no doubt one of the most regulated businesses in America. The Fed and every state in the union have complex...
  20. The 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack is the next-generation, all-electric version of the Dodge Charger, and is expected to be the world's quickest

You think EVs are good for local commuting? Go over to YouTube, and look up MGUY. It won't take very long for anyone to change their mind!
