You cannot build pressure by turning the engine over with the starter on a modular engine. It's a Gerotor oil pump. Doesn't turn fast enough, ford even says this in the engine docs. It's not like the old style engines and oil pumps. You can pre-lube it with a pump

They don't make any low end power and the gearing of the manual is too long. Sure, all you have to do is downshift but the Whipple changes the powerband way more. A10 with the centri is fine. You'll still be a lot lower in rpm with every shift in the manual.

Neither of them make boost at low throttle inputs I personally wouldn't want a centri with a manual, but you should try to drive both setups before you buy.

I just want to see what the difference is on the dyno is. Is it 10? 20? 50? As i said people are flying with the stock active exhaust so it can't be that big of a restriction.

Can you buy from Amazon, Partsgeek, etc? Most stuff from Rock Auto is half of what the parts stores charge. And some things like brake rotors might be 25% of the retail price! It would suck to lose the ability to buy cheap parts like that.
