  1. Headers Install Cost

I genuinely don’t understand why major companies aren’t building mid pipes and cat backs with better resonators, the cars sound like ass without them. Or they’re just off shore cheap pipe fabs idk. Should be an easy high quality shelf solution.
  2. Headers Install Cost

2nd opinion, that’s a ridiculous price. I paid 1k at a mustang specialty shop. Brought in the headers (new kooks) 3k is like saying… F off, I don’t want to do it.
  3. Factory paint defect in suspension towers

As someone that worked in Ford paint department for years, this is ridiculous. The frame skids have different mounts/points etc to accommodate prior vehicles etc. If you understood what the body itself went through it would make a ton more sense. As far as being hung, chained, dipped, sprayed.
  4. Drag Race: S650 vs. All Other Mustang Generations

Why would they not just buy a few dragys, actually race and have fully verified data, just weird to me.
  5. Clutch warranty

Yeah this is a classic case of go get a 2nd 3rd opinion. sounds like they don’t want to help you period.
  6. CEO Jim Farley: They'll have to rip the Mustang's stick shift 'out of our cold, dead hands'

I’d love for them to put a sequential in. Then the gear jammerz can have their feels without the disgusting loss between shifts.
  7. For everyone who hasn’t done the BCM Recall Remedy

Does it have to be exposed to water?
  8. Gas prices [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Gas had been generationally cheap for decades now in the USA. we probably need to mean revert closer to 5,6,7 a gallon. I’d expect higher prices this summer and a new wave of inflation. there is still too much money and that’s a great way to draw down excesses.
  9. Catted long tube headers safe for boost?

If smell is what you’re worried about, just run E30. The ethanol seems to kill any noticeable fuel smell. if i run full 93 or race gas I get smells again, and tail pipes make it less noticeable too. My old fox with off-road dumps was pretty bad, so I understand.
  10. I will NOT be ordering a SC DH

My good friend is on a 2.6 pulley, ID1300s and E85 tune for almost 60k miles… it’s definitely in the 900 wheel range, he’s got a group of GT500 guys also, most do have off road headers, and a few with 3.8 whipples in the low 1200 whp range. All stock trans btw, all no issues afaik.
  11. CEO Jim Farley: They'll have to rip the Mustang's stick shift 'out of our cold, dead hands'

Any thread with the “man pedal” always takes a turn.
  12. I will NOT be ordering a SC DH

The predators run larger 2-3/4” cats and exhaust piping. Much stronger honeycomb construction as well. not a problem for 1kwhp or so.
  13. CEO Jim Farley: They'll have to rip the Mustang's stick shift 'out of our cold, dead hands'

Every stick car I’m in nowadays, all I can feel is the loss of momentum between shifts, and it’s not like the cars are solid axle, train tracking 1/2/3
  14. Catted long tube headers safe for boost?

go off-road, no cats are really safe with boost.
  15. Putting the Coyote in Another Car

NMRA coyote stock has been deep 9s for probably a decade or more. Sealed engines. also that’s Flores buddy bondo bird, used to be pretty frequent in the chat.
  16. CEO Jim Farley: They'll have to rip the Mustang's stick shift 'out of our cold, dead hands'

If only they could give us a manual that actually can shift fast and live.
  17. Spark Plugs - 93 and E85 on Tune

I’ll need to add more tools, because i followed whipples instructions and had to do all that extra stuff. Thanks!
  18. Spark Plugs - 93 and E85 on Tune

It is so much extra work to do plugs on this car, I’d leave it alone. You need to pull the battery, part of the rear cowl panel and remove the battery heat shield plate to get back into 7/8. Like a few hours.
  19. One mod you love and wouldn't change. And one you kinda regret?

When my car was brand new, the 1st thing I did was steeda progressive springs, cradle bushings, and locating dowels. it instantly had not only much better stance and handling, but it eliminated all the slop from the IRS cradle and the car was instantly transformed. I noticed immediately the...
  20. Why doesn't Ford make the rotary transmission found in the Shelby GT 500 available to all Mustangs?

I could see it being in a new gen or refresh, have a dial in my new maverick and the 1st thing my buddy said was along the lines of “GT500 shifter HELL YEAH!”
