You have to understand mass production.
It was like the highest recalls last year and they still made almost 7 Billion profit, and the major reason it was down year over year was due to an aluminum supplier going down and they had to slow F150 production for several weeks.
cost benefit...
Correct, gas has been generationally cheap since 2008 peak/bust
I just appreciate the sound logic, money has value over time, and people always look past the X factor to bitch.
Point is mustangs are Fn cheap as they’ve ever been. Especially for what you get!
OP… the car is priced almost perfectly inline if you do the math.
Originally GT500s cost about $4200, the DOW was around 990.
carry it out to today… and it tracks to be 200K dollars.
you can’t use inflation calculators… they just show the difference in the quantity of money… you must use DOW...
Hell yeah they’re gonna sell, we live in a world of 70-100k F150s, 100K broncos…
DHSC is gonna sell and with a hefty ADM to boot.
And whoever is implying people won’t buy these cars specifically for 60-130 or roll racing , you’re out of the loop
K.A. Got his GTD ffs and the 1st tests were all...
I watched at least a half dozen or more at the track last year and they all ran mid/low 11s, that’s the real world real owner numbers.
I don’t car about laps. Turd.
That YT vid is a hero run miracle pass, possibly even some sort of shenanigans
Ford is on a company wide crackdown as we speak, and to me it’s a thing of beauty, quality should be greatly improved over the next 6 months, if salary side sticks to it. Don’t want to it all!
It’s been a long time coming
I think those oversized GESI cats are like 800 a piece plus custom installed.
they are pretty much the only option, but expensive AF and you need to “know a guy” that can install.
Great choice though
ADM … and purchase history is the road we’re going down, 50k, plus a new F150 or explorer etc…
they want to copy the Porsche model, want a 911 turbo?… start buying macans and cayennes to gain favor with a dealer.
That’s a good shop, some of the aftermarket cat constructions seem to be even weaker than OEM.
It’s nothing to play around with when you’re talking 12:1 compression and another 12-15+ psi.
This is why I pound the table about off road headers.
I know it’s a hassle and smell, but E30 kills the smell.
And I’d say off road headers are a must over OPG’s 100 times out of 100.
That’s cooking, and I love they did it on stock OPGs for all the worriers.
congrats, and 160… oooooohhhwweeee!!!
Edit…. Trans sounds like it’s ready to leave the chat
I’ve yet to see anyone compare a tune dyno numbers to stock E30 dyno numbers, especially on a manual, in a 10R80 car I get it, you’ll gain from shift points, trans tuning.
I don’t think a stick car will gain anything with a tune other then reduced throttle input lag, even if they raise RPM...
