So when it says it will update at 1:00 a.m., that is not the time when it needs to have cell service? I just want to make sure I understand what the two of you are saying.
On the other hand they are pretty tolerant of speeding, within reason. While it is no guarantee, you basically have to hit 15 over before anybody is interested in making a stop, so you can run 80+ on the interstate where it is 70 mph speed limit without any real concern.
These sorts of appearances are what I think about every time I see a suggestion for running more camber as a way to fit tires that are too wide or offset to far to the outside for a Mustang's wheel wells.
No! I want my camber perfect for the type of driving I am anticipating, not for squeezing...
One track day, and the outside three to four inches of my tires looked like they had been melted, like an amateur stippling job on the grip of a Glock handgun.
That was on the stock camber setting (Dark Horse handling package)
I was thinking of maybe having a shop set an alignment just for...
OTA means Over The Air.
Over what air?
Cellular?
Wi-Fi?
I am asking because I live out in the country. Cell service is a no go. Wi-fi is iffy to no go in my driveway. How is my Dark Horse going to get the update?
For example, I have learned to put the address into Waze on my cell phone...
That is all how I understand things to operate
BUT
Two posters above said this occurred while one drove steadily at 70 mph on the highway, and the other was driving across the desert to California at speeds of 80 - 100 mph.
The fans do not really matter anymore at those speeds, do they?
Every time I visited Holland, I was impressed with the English skill of the locals. I used to joke that the Dutch spoke better English than the average American (and, like most jokes, there had to be some truth to it for it to be humorous). You, sir, are no exception. Your words were chosen...
Sorry. I was reading too fast, "I got a permit to drive," and now I see that you were getting permission to drive with foreign plates, not getting a permit to drive, as in a temporary license. I misunderstood.
When I came back stateside in 1989 with my 1981 Camaro with T-tops, lol, a police officer pulled me over due to my license plate. It was white and said USA on it, which is an issue license plate (or was back then) to military stationed in Europe.
He wanted to know what kind of license plates...
Excellent result. Like you, I am scared to start popping open panels. I would like to have front and rear cameras and a radar detector mounted, though.
Hopefully that is not too long from now, because you are wearing the tires in the exact same manner as the last tires, and exactly as fast.
Last time this happened to me, it was the control arms that had worn out, resulting in both excessive camber and toe issues, worst of both worlds. It also...
This quite simply is not true.
Examine your own premise carefully before using it to construct your argument. A false premise frequently leads to a false conclusion.
Is it true that oil temperature must rise above 100° Celsius / 212° Fahrenheit, "above boiling" (here I assume you mean the...
The dashboard video for the Steeda Mustang has oil temperature going from 190 something to 230 during a quarter mile pass:
