Wow. Did you actually weigh this car? That is startlingly heavy. I was thinking it ought to come in just under 4,000 lbs, and that this was quite heavy enough (big, fat pig heavy). Is it really more than 400 lbs more?

Another forum member used a double flow through muffler with 3 inch pipes in place of the resonator which is both freer flowing and quieter. Just a thought. If you search 3 inch you will probably find it.
