prefilling the filter does nothing. Been proven. If they don’t have the tick then they add ceratec or the ford additive. It has absolutely nothing to do with ford full synthetic or pre filling the filter. If it actually did this ford would say to use this and do that and not put out the service...
lol. Why you insinuating like he’s gonna fly off the handle. All he asked is if it’s ok and whatnot. The guy has a right to the proper oil the manual recommends and what he paid for.
it could be a simple mistake if they handle it well no reason to not use them again. It’s not detrimental it’s not a major issue. It should be fixed but no need to make a giant stink if they take care of it IMO
As i said earlier the high heat in these engines I wouldn’t run 5w20 long. Oil analysis shows the viscosity has dropped below 30 at 5k changes on my vehicle. I’m running synthetic too. So while the S550 allowed it those ran cooler than these
I think the S550 was 5w-20 but i can’t remember. Honestly it should be ok but i wouldn’t push it past 3k miles on the change with the meat these things make causing viscosity to fall faster. But if you want 5w-30 I’d call them and tell them to make it right and they should because the manual...
No they are different LED lights actually too. Obviously same bumper housing but different style LED. Go to the website and you can see all the details.
Mine doesn’t but i saw it on several on the lot. I pointed it out and the a bunch of the salesmen were like oh wow cause they didn’t even notice it.
I usually get Pennzoil Platinum or the Quaker State Ultimate. For some reason they were pretty cleaned out when i went in a few days ago for oil on my Bronco so i just got the top Supertech Synthetic for $20 a jug which I’ve ran in multiple vehicles with good OA.
