I don't think that location will fix the volume issue. SDARS has to do with satelite radio and RSEM is some software related thing that I don't understand, but I don't think it corrolates to the volume control.
Try looking through the spreadsheet on the ACM spreadsheet to see if you find...
I may be reaching out to you for help and insight soon. I got the IPC in the mail this week for my girl's Bronco Sport and it seems like it won't fit due to differences in dimensions. I am still going to take apart the dash and try, but I may need to get the entire dash insert from a 2025 as...
No, the cluster reverting to something other than what you last used is an "issue" that affects all vehicles on Sync 4. Not sure if this is a glitch or it is by design, but it is very annoying.
I am on a similar mission with my girl's Bronco sport, but I started with the APIM first and just ordered the cluster from a 2025 Bronco Sport to see what I can get it to do (or not do).
The GWM on Sync 3 will never be fully compatible with the IPC you put in or the Sync 4 APIM. Certain things...
Very nice! Are you able to access all the settings in the touchscreen menu and turn things on and off?
In terms of your question, check what value you show in the IPC here. If the value shows TT automatic, change it to manual and see if PRNDL goes away.
Also, in the case of the S650 on Sync...
Very long thread, but this has been done a few times over on the F150 forum. Process would be similar on these cars.

You would need to add the CCM (cruise control module) and both front side obstacle...
That is a different issue. To fix the spinning wheel, disconnect the negative cable from your 12v battery for 20 minutes. Check again once you reconnect it.
You can disable it with FORScan here in the IPMA. In the US market, the Mustangs show an E in this location which enables LKS with LK alert, LK Aid and LCWA (lane centering with assist).
Assuming yours also has an E there, changing that value to a 6 will only allow Lane Keep Alert to work, so...
This is enabled here in the PCM:
There may be other things that need to be changed in other modules......not sure, but this for sure needs to be enabled.
Interrupted means the 12v battery is too low as was mentioned. Ford can really do a better job with the verbiage on these things.
Charge up the 12v battery to 100%, and then manually try to install it. Don't wait for 1am or whatever you have the auto update schedule set up. All that will do is...
Settings resetting is a common annoyance with Sync 4 vehicles. If you suspect an update was sent, message me the VIN and I can check your OTA history in PTS.
If you know how to pull the as-built data on your car, check what you have in this bit of the APIM. If the value you have in that location coincides with "AL not available", then that is why your ambient lightning is no longer there. If that is the case, it is a very easy fix.
Sync 4 has its quirks and settings reverting from what you set them to happens to all Sync 4 vehicles.
In terms of ambient lighting no longer being in the settings: I have seen cases where an OTA update mistakenly changes the config within a module where it disables a feature that should be...
Yes, you can still drive it. For sure there will be codes if you scan it. Not sure if there will be any hard faults on the dash, but even if there are, you can still drive it safely.
Those guys know their stuff. I am not sure if the Genie Max will enable the function in the BCM or not, but that is an easy thing to do yourself if it is necessary.
