ours leaks on the diver side if I hit it with a good amount of pressure. I think it needs a window adjustment but Iām not that concerned about it right now.
We got a crap interest rate with excellent credit but walked out for final price of $1,000 under asking including tax, title and all the other crap. They did already add a protective package which they charged $1900 for but got that knocked down by half. I didnāt want it at all but I wasnāt...
We have a strut brace on our car. Non PP but itās a premium. Our sticker says nothing of a strut brace. We noticed the other convertible we were looking at didnāt have it and it had the same package as ours with the added brembo upgrade.
We bought it through the Ford dealership. Itās through TWS and itās a little cheaper and covers 99% of the same things. Ford dealerships donāt question this warranty and treat it just like the Ford esp
Until you have a major issue that cost more than the warranty. My buddy had an extended warranty on his f150. Motor took a dive at 85,000. Repair for the motor was over $10,000. His warranty was $2800 I believe and $100 deductible. He got a new 3.5ecoboost installed. Now thatās the extreme...
Our dealer and finance person said the platinum plan covers the dash. Looks like the Gold plus does too. Itās all integrated with nav system, instrument cluster, ac controls. The only side bar refers to glass. Iām guessing if you break the glass that might be an issue but they will have a...
Did your can have a mesh element inside it or just empty can? The ones recommended for the gm ecotec motors all had mesh elements inside which help capture more oil vapors. The empty cans did very little in comparison.
I donāt see the point of paying hundreds of dollars for a ball. Itās a waste of money in my opinion that could be used on other parts of the car to make it your own. However, itās your car and your money so do with it what you want.
Glad you found the culprit. The other thing interesting is that Iāve never seen a ball in a pcv valve. Just a spring and a piece of metal or plastic. Iām now curious as to what our pcv valve looks like.
Ok. That makes sense. Also, can you get the upgraded 6 piston brembo calipers front and 4 rear and brake lines on a non PP car? I think we saw one car optioned like that but I canāt be sure. They are either blue or red only from what I remember.
We had ours powder coated when we bought it. We never saw non PP mustangs with painted calipers. Only the PP options had them. Wasnāt aware you could get painted calipers on non PP option car.
Iāve winterized one car for 10 years. Do as the others say: change the oil, inflate tires to 40 lbs or more, battery tender, fuel stabilizer, and DO NOT start it at all. Moisture will become an issue inside the motor, exhaust, etc⦠and itās also a good time to condition your leather seats and...
No he doesnāt cut open the filter but itās also not necessary. Thatās a pointless concept unless you arenāt doing an oil analysis then itās a way to see large particles but not very helpful in identifying anything. The OA will show you whatās happening. Yes, 500 mile for first change is a...
I follow him on YouTube and heās great at explaining oils. Very informative videos and heās knowledgeable. He use to work for Joe Gibbs racing in oil development.
I used a Sears trickle charger I bought back in ā09. Used it every winter for 11 years 5 months at a time. The cars original battery lasted 14 years. I think I have $20 for it.
If you have a long handle screwdriver you can place it on the motor in various spots and put your ear up to the handle. It can help pinpoint where the noise is coming from if you locate the spot. Itās not high tech but it works. Keep us updated on what the dealer says
