  1. What is everyone using to clean info screens

This is what I use and it can also be used on other plastics as well. No streaking and a little goes a long way.
  2. Splitter Kit for GT Convertible

Yes, we ordered one with trunk mat as well. My wife went to pick them up and the dealer opted to install the splitter so I didn’t have the chance. It looks very good and not as gaudy as the other aftermarket splitters. Install seems very simple with 3M strips it comes with.
  3. 3.15 or 3.55 for my GT Daily Driver? 3.55 Worth the upcharge?

I’ve driven both and can tell you that you won’t tell a difference. If you think you might want to change the rear diff which 99.9% of car owners never do then go with the 3.55. Otherwise the 3.15 is fine. And having the heavier convertible with a 3.15 I have no problems accelerating faster...
  4. K&N Intake Kit for 2024+ Mustang GT now available

No biggie. You’d be surprised how many people don’t know about the filtration on oiled filters. I’ve been seeing this on car forums since the early 2000’s and plenty of new car people coming here to find answers. I’ve seen more than a few people buy these CAI kits and be upset they didn’t...
  5. Lots of gravel and dirt noise while driving

I would like to know this as well. Right now I have duct tape cover mine. It doesn’t get in the rain unless it an emergency and I am also going to spray some wd-40 in there after taking an air compressor to these areas. My drive way slopes pretty good too so I’ll paint downhill for addd...
  6. K&N Intake Kit for 2024+ Mustang GT now available

Just because there are thousands or millions of people that have used these filters doesn’t mean it’s the best idea. I’ve seen dozens of tests and more oil analysis than I care to count that show this filter without a doubt allows more particulates into the engine than other filters. The gain...
  7. RTR Grille Damaged on delivery TWICE

Hopefully they make it right. Stinks this has happened twice now.
  8. Challenger or S650

Challenger is more aggressive and mean looking whereas the Mustang is more sexy and sleek. I’ve driven both and the trq down low is unreal in the 392 and the weight isn’t that much different from the s650. Top end is edged out by the Mustang I’d say going off dyno graphs as I haven’t had ours...
  9. K&N Intake Kit for 2024+ Mustang GT now available

I’m sure there will be a few hp increase if the carbon traps are removed but you won’t feel it. And why change your air filters to ones that filter less particulates from the air? This has been proven many times over. I’m not saying that using K&N filters will destroy your engine but I want...
  10. Anyone plan on buying the Air Design Satin Black Front Splitter ?

We have one installed. Left it in original color and ceramic coated it. The RTR splitter doesn’t look that good on the Mustang. The corners stick out way too far.
  11. 2024 Ecoboost as daily driver (in MI)?

I do t know what part of Michigan you are from and north to south is significantly different in the winter. We moved from northern Indiana(at the state line) a few years ago. We got a ton of lake effect snow many winters. Plenty of people drive mustangs in the snow up to a certain amount. A...
  12. Foam Cannons

Here is the foam that I get with my setup. This was a little thicker than I like but it’s easily adjustable by the amount of soap added. I’m using a new soap and it definitely foams up and it is super slick.
  13. Foam Cannons

We never delved into that but we did use a water softener years ago. It lasted us 10 years but our well water wasn’t that hard. Maybe 10 on the scale if I remember which was just barely more hard than the city water. We only went through maybe 5-6 bags of salt a year
  14. Foam Cannons

I see what you are saying. That makes sense
  15. Whining noise from engine

Many transmissions have the pump pushing fluid in park and neutral. If the noise is from the pump itself that would be why. I’m not 100% sure on this as the cause to the noise but it’s possible. I do know the straighter the teeth on gears the louder they are. If you’ve ever heard a diesel...
  16. Foam Cannons

Using a water softener doesn’t add minerals to the water, it removes them. The water goes through a media of resin beads or whatever they are using and the salt is used to flush the minerals out of the media when it regenerates itself or you regenerate it to rid the minerals from the media...
  17. Foam Cannons

I’ve been using green works pressures for awhile. I’ll post some pics when I have time this weekend. I’ve recently switched to a different foam cannon and I like it so far. Only have a half a dozen uses on it but so far so good. I got rid of my other cannon a few months back and I probably...
  18. Foam Cannons

If you are just doing your personal vehicle there’s no need to buy a hundred dollar foam cannon and a thousand dollar pressure washer. I’ve had an electric 2000, psi washer and a $30 foam cannon for a few years with zero issues. The washer has at least 200 hours of run time on it and my cannon...
  19. Whining noise from engine

Ours has it. The only other instance I’ve had this occur was in a Nissan when my timing chain ate through the tensioners. It was much louder than the Mustang but it sounded exactly like a supercharger. Some forum members figured it out and I had to show the service manager pics and a...
  20. Touch up Pens

When I lived in northern Indiana I found an O’reillys that mixed any paint code and could get it in a spray can. I don’t know if they can do a pen. Not all stores can do this but there are some.
