Howdy folks.
Having a devil of a time rewiring my starter after headers install. It was the one thing I didn't photograph before disassembly, and now I'm paying dearly. Kept popping my starter fuse, and last thing I tried, managed to kill the car stone cold dead.
Can someone PLEASE post a...
Off the cuff, yes, it would run cooler, with a higher volume of fuel overall at a much higher octane. Even with advanced timing, so long as AFR's are dialed in, I'd think it would be ok, though as ZXMustang mentioned, I'd worry about washing all the oil right off those cylinder walls. Racers...
I hope to be adding a Whipple next Spring/Summer, so I did some research on the HO Greens I have coming, since cooking those is not an option. Here's what I found elsewhere in the itnerwebbs:

Fascinating stuff; do you have logs demonstrating this? Specifically, what was lambda commanded, lambda actual, and EGT "surge" pre- and post-DFCO engagement? What temp is a "lean" spike you're seeing, >1700F? 1750F?
First of all, watch your tone; I don’t deserve the heat.
That said, I was saying that with GT500 injectors, e85, and Stage 2 Whipple, I wouldn't be confident over thousands of miles I wouldn't peg the duty cycle under full boost without further fuel upgrades.
I understand an NA S650 can run...
Glad I'm not crazy that I haven't seen any Flex Fuel Sensor Kits aside from this one, which has shady reviews.
Theoretically, though, couldn't a 5V signal out of a Fuel/Alcohol sensor into an OBDII add-on like an AEM wideband feeding into a tune be used to properly manage flex-fuel in real-time...
I run my belt through that too. It's so you can unclip it if you push seat forward so someone can sit in rear. We rarely ever use it, so we keep it all buttoned up.
