As I am getting out I hit the lock button on the door panel. I then hear the lock sound and have no doubt it is locked. I have done this on all my cars. I did try using the outside handle but it was harder to hear if I was in a traffic area.
@buddyg I'm glad you were able to own all your great cars. By saving on razor blades over the years must have added $$ to the toy fund. I think I am going to stop shaving and see what toys I can get. Geat having you here.😃
Ford had plenty of problems early on when they first implemented the OLM. So far mine seems to be working. If you believe yours isn't working as designed use your warranty and get it fixed. I want all our Mustang friends to be happy.
This recall is more serious than what is being told. Lots of money sitting at dealers They can't be happy. This problem was on the S197 but it was because of drains being plugged. Some was also from the wiper plastic cowl trim not sealing where it attached.
I know it has been said...
That coolant shows a problem. Even a small amount of oil in the coolant would not show on the dip stick. I have seen coolant with 25k miles and not look as bad. Get it documented. The dealer should be on this quickly. If your dealer seems complacent find another dealer.
One thought for you is to have satisfaction guaranteed. That might help with more taking a chance to see how great a product you have and move customers off the fence. Of course it would be shipping costs to the customer for returns. Your idea has me intrigued.
AZ with all the lifted trucks that seem to run extremely loud pipes I wouldn't worry about your exhaust being too load. Cops don't even enforce mud flaps, tint or diamond lane abusers. Besides your exhaust is 50 state legal.🌵🙂
I would say take it back to the dealer bur it seems they don't even know how to do a PDI. If you can do it youself you would be better off. Also make sure you have the strakes installed. They should have come in the trunk. Dealers can be good but yours is questionable. If they missed all...

"Ford’s EV business continues to lose money, around $1.3 billion this past quarter in adjusted earnings. So far this year, Ford has lost $3.1 billion on its EV spending and has said it’s going to lose a total of $4 billion for the year."
They have lost far more than what is quoted...
Many OEM gauges back in the day were made to show normal without the actual temp. This would keep drivers from wigging out. One only would get concerned if it climbed out of normal.
