Pros and cons to both maybe, but not big ones, except the price. Can't see $200 in that at all, and how long before other have something better looking that costs less?
Any article that says the average person wastes $1,010 of gas per year in idling alone, then says later in the article that a person can save as much as 5% in fuel costs with auto-start/stop if they idle in traffic a lot, is spinning a story without regard for the truth. The average person...
I think that's a bit strong. They have not shifted their focus away from anyone. The tech is in nearly every new car these days. I'm glad if people think this car was made for them, but that will be said by every person buying one, regardless of age.
I tell them to add nothing to the car. No plate frame, no stickers, no PPF, no warranties, no nothing. Don't remove the stickers/papers inside. Etc. Once, a different dealer added paint protection and ding warranty to a new car. Came up in financing after we'd agreed on price. I told them...
I don't know, but I'd guess that's not their "allocation", but their available resources right now ("capacity"). Some things they can't source fast enough, other things they didn't get as much demand (yet) and have extra capacity.
I've got the same blend date. Black GT Prem, PP, NPP, AVE, MR, 6MT
Hope we're seeing them built and shipped soon. Mine won't reduce the black painted roof capacity, obviously. Maybe they should offer a Yellow Splash painted roof option...lol
Others have echoed the same. While most probably prefer the quality delays in this case, I think there's another option that gets overlooked. Plan right, communicate right, meet quality AND timing commitments. Doesn't seem like Ford is behind on "summer delivery" timing, so this might be moot...
Hard to believe Ford wouldn't do this to claim the extra HP now, if it were worth it, say for example before providing dual intake for a similar gain. It's cheaper to port when they're manufacturing it. Anyone know why they'd leave it rough-ish?
That's the norm across all industries in the US (for years now), even with the crazy inflation going on. Unfortunately, all the "free" money in the economy over the last few years has to be paid back with inflation now, but it doesn't look like anyone is ready to give bigger cost of living...
We need a survey on this thread. LOL
I'm all for active exhaust. Wouldn't even consider the car without it. I'm also convinced it's better to have what you want than to wish you had it for the next how many years. It's worth the wait if that's what it takes to reorder, but I'd be pushing...
I'd recommend reviewing the info in the tracker before waiting on the window sticker. That's when I first noticed a problem, which my dealer admitted they entered wrong. They fixed it a week later, and it updated immediately in the tracker. It's correct on my window sticker and the car just...
