I agree, but I bought one anyway. Harder to keep clean. Not a cop magnet, or I'd have gone for red for sure. A color that will always be classy. Very sharp, especially with tinted windows.

They also said they'd answer questions and such, but I haven't seen them answer anyone who asked (but I probably haven't seen all the asks either). They set the expectation and then...? Still looking forward to the car, though. Eye on the prize. 😉

The reason it's so popular is because it's so much lower maintenance than wax. And it's a better shine, lasts longer, is more durable than wax, applies easier (especially after the first coat), and cleans easier. 🤷‍♂️ But some are better than others for sure.

I had the same problem. I'm pretty sure the tracker is correct. My dealer acknowledged they entered it wrong and fixed the order after I had the VIN, and the tracker now shows it correctly. No other change to my scheduling or VIN happened.

Yep, fair point and proof there are no guarantees until it's built. But did they indicate that's why they moved it? I understood others got moved out when they prolonged their quality improvement efforts in May, also coinciding with supply chain issues...

Found another thread on this. Seems most of the kinks were worked out. D4 doesn't seem to have the broken fork issues so much (maybe only driver error now?) or high rev shift issues. Maybe rev matching will help some folks as well. 🤷🏼‍♂️
