The active exhaust stock I agree is better than s550 active exhaust stock but what I meant is the sound with aftermarket exhausts or a simple muffler delete/straight pipe it sounds a lot more airy and higher pitched to me with the few exhausts that I've seen on the s650 whereas the s550 had a...
I'm going to go against the grain here, I know nobody likes to talk badly about what they spent their life savings on but I will give my honest opinion. I had an s550 ecoboost and test drove a bunch of s550 GT's and was very close to buying one but waited for the 2024. I now have the 2024 GT...
Damn that is unlucky, thankfully I haven't had any issues so far hopefully it stays that way. The tick seems to be in every 5.0 and ford said it has no impact and there are very high mileage motors with the tick so that's not something I would worry about but hope you don't have any more issues!
I am curious what sort of error you get with the active exhaust not working? Is there a check engine light or some sort of warning? Are you still able to remote start the car? I might delete my factory active mufflers but unfortunately I will be keeping the actuators in case I want to put them...
Comparing their s550s on the same dynos why is the s650 making way less torque? that is really weird it seems to be consistent in most videos, only a tiny bit more horsepower but way less torque.
That grabber blue looks beautiful but I feel like widebody scatpacks will hold their value much better especially with how they've been marked up everywhere now. You have many years left of production to get a mustang so that might be a factor to consider when trading it in but that all depends...
Cut off those mufflers if you want louder, that's the first thing I would do if I didn't get active exhaust because I feel like the stock mufflers are wayy too restrictive.
I want to do a muffler delete and get rid of my active exhaust by keeping the actuators plugged in and tying them up as well as put on an H pipe (basically straight pipe). I am wondering if anyone knows if this muffler delete axle back would fit on the 2024 with the active exhaust rear valence...
I like the stripes but I think the black decklid looks really stupid. I think it's because people are so used to s550s and black decklids so they try to fit this car to that image but it just doesn't fit here. It's better to have the actual paintjob when for the first time that part is not a...
That's great lol I know it's hard to tell volume from videos but the decibel meter reading would be interesting. It does sound really good though if it keeps that same stock tone while making it louder, usually making it louder ends up making it more raspy.
That would be great! still no real GT H pipe video out there yet. Also if you could include a part driving away from the camera too see how it sounds driving it would be appreciated but whatever you wanna do.
I can't tell the difference at all, it's all too quiet for me. I want to do a muffler delete with an H or X pipe but I just don't want to get some errors from cutting off the active exhaust. I wish there was a way around that.
Does anyone know how to make it show what gear it is in on the instrument cluster? (10spd) no matter what mode I use it just shows me the cruise control and lane keeping icon instead of showing me the gears unless I use the paddle shifters.
