Have you guys figured out if it's possible to take off the active exhaust like the s550 leaving the actuators plugged in so we can put regular exhausts on the car? Has this exhaust been tested on an active exhaust car?

On the 21st mine went from built all the way back to order confirmed and then next day to shipped, then today it said final preparation and was here.

It finally came, it is filthy right now they supposedly just got it off the truck a few hours ago and my status changed to delivered. Parked it at the back of the lot in a tent. Should be picking it up tomorrow or the day after. I'm excited the long wait is over.

Thanks, that's helpful it sounds pretty good on the dark horse but wondering how it sounds on the GT since they're tuned to sound different. Doesn't seem like it makes much of a volume difference at all though based on the decibel readings, that's unfortunate.

It being a non-US model thing could be it but I really hope not, although the aftermarket splitters look better anyway in my opinion so I might get that regardless. Will have to check when my car comes it should be any day now.

Can't tell if it's just the angle of the picture but it looks like you have the performance pack but have the non performance pack front splitter? Might want to check that out but I can't tell for sure based on the pics.

You said you didn't experience a difference in dB, do you just mean on the inside or do you mean that on the outside it mostly changes the tone and not the volume? I would be doing it for the volume so just want to know how much louder it makes it if any louder at all.

That's great! I'm glad the stock exhaust sounds good but a before and after would be very helpful if you get the chance or just the after with the X pipe.

Looks great, talking about first mods I hope somebody adds an H pipe or X pipe to the active exhaust and shows how they sound on the s650s, it is probably going to be most people's first mod so would be nice to know.
