I was doing more research and on the non pp oil adapter we have an engine intake manifold solenoid and on the PP oil filter adapters they don’t have that. I don’t want to mess with that so we’ll have to wait for an aftermarket solution or come up with our own.
I agree I don’t see it get past 240-250 very much. I was looking around and it looks like the NON PP have an Engine Intake Manifold Runner Solenoid on the oil filter adapter and the PP oil filter adapter doesn’t have that.
Correct on the non-performance pack cars it is blocked off but you could take that backing plate off. I’m pretty sure it’s removable. Also on the performance pack cars the fender liner has openings. You could spend the money and get a new fender liner or just cut splits into the existing one...
Was curious about everyone’s thoughts on this and if it’s possible to add the performance pack oil cooler on the non performance pack cars. Just doing highway cruising oil temp around 230. After some spirited pulls temps get up to 260s and I’ve even seen 270s once which is way to high. Looks...
I tried putting the old isolators in nothing changed still is getting super close to the metal there. I put the new isolators on tried repositioning the spring but there is not really play for it. Everytime I jack up the subframe the end of the coil just wants to stick back out like in that photo
Just installed Ford performance track springs for the 2024 Mustang specifically it came with rear spring anti squeak isolators. The end of the coil is super close or touching the body of the car. And yes the bottom of the spring is seated correctly. Will this cause it to squeak later down the...
Manual or 10 speed? Honestly kind of disappointed by the cooling on the 24s. I had a 19 GT non PP and took it to the drag strip ran back to back to back no issues but 1 hit on my 2024 non PP also on the highway and my oil temp is at 240 real quick I heard around 260 it starts to cut rpms. Not...
