dealer tired tires as the factory ones could not be balanced. Then, the new tires were also unable to be balanced.
there was talk of wheel replacement…but it’s been a month since that.
I could not get the dealer to swap out a cell set of wheels off of another vehicle to test if the vibration was from the wheels or not. They said wheels were being considered, but that was 3 weeks ago.
Ford has offered to buy the car back and I’m going to head that direction. This thing has sat...
I must be terribly unlucky because my PP GT vert vibrates on the highway at 68-77mph. The dealer couldn’t fix it so it’s a Lemon buyback.
I test drove another one and it is the same way. How is that even possible lol.
Half shafts have been replaced, along with the drive shaft.
wheels maybe? Issue right now is that they cannot get the tires to balance on the wheels, I believe anyway.
My dealer has replaced all 4 tires and can get them to balance. Idk what the next steps are. The filed engineer is going to come look at the car for a third time and I’ve asked ford to buy the damn car back via BBB Autoline. Cost too much to vibrate on the highway, which I drive daily.
it would be amazing if that is the only issue. I would imagine that the dealer would try this option…but then again I’m not hopeful. The car has been there for many months and I doubt it will ever get resolved. I don’t believe that they think it’s a big deal, but to me, it’s a huge deal.
The dealer swapped out the g-force axels for the factory axles and said they felt it resolved the vibration. I test drove the car today and it did NOT fix it.
not sure about next steps now
My car has been at the dealer for a while trying to diagnose a driveline vibration. While it’s there, I have asked them to try and get the left rear bumper pain repaired. It’s peeling where the metal and plastic meet at the left rear quarter panel.
idk how they plan on fixing it, but it seems...
I just sat down with the Service Manager. He is going to get the field engineer involved.
Man, it sure seems late for this but I’m glad someone is finally doing this.
They are going to let him take a look at things before any more parts are replaced or swapped.
The Ford customer service rep I...
