How are you tackling oil changes with the steeda k brace covering that lower pan? Do you have to unbolt the k brace to lower that pan?

Thank you very much for that update. I’m quite disappointed that the brace is probably not up to any performance standard as it sounds like it’s more for aesthetics only. I suppose I’ll save my $400 for the time being.

Has anyone asked VPM? I think I tried to email them once about it. CF is pretty strong. I should help some.

VPM makes a top strut tower brace now that fits over the whipped. That’s what I’ll be doing. You just have to cut the hood insulation.

what lockout kit did you get? Any NVH?

I have thought about that, just worried it will score the finish and weaken the bar over time. I’m probably going to remove the entire thing and replace it with one of those thin products

Idk. Never ran anything without The insulation barrier. Pretty sure it’s for both sound and heat dissipation purposes. As far as engine bay paint…the hood is going to be somewhat different as heat rises and the sun also beats down on it. Just thinking long term. You may be right though.

I would be worried about heat and hood paint. That insulation is there for a reason. Thinking a thin heat barrier makes sense

The roads in MS ARE wobbly! But it’s worse on the newly paved roads. Also, EVERY other vehicle I have driven on the same route do not vibrate.
