  3. To the Road Course (Buttonwillow track) with the 2024 Mustang GT - Overheating and Clutch Issues Aplenty!

The Base GT does not have a Diff temp sensor in the housing. It is drilled for it but nothing is in there. So this is unlikely the cause.
  4. MMR Lowers the 24' GT on MMR/MCS Coil Overs and goes to the track!

Correct, this car (a base) does not have ANY oil cooler or heat exchanger.
  5. Revan Evan dynos Dark Horse HP + removes Carbon Traps

Agreed, it was more of an observation than anything. As a company that runs an engine dyno cell we strive for repeatable results and standardized tests. Something like running the car in the wrong gear would null any official results. And again, to be clear, was not knocking the cars output or...

88-90 Degrees Most of the day, interestingly it even got hot in the early morning session also.
  7. Revan Evan dynos Dark Horse HP + removes Carbon Traps

Unfortunately this test was not done in 5th gear (1 to 1) meaning the numbers are not correct no matter how you tweak them. I think this was a big error but understand the reason for it (so that it did not hit the speed limiter) Bottom line, the HP numbers would be lower in 5th gear and 1 to 1...

Something funny is going on, like we mentioned in some other threads , the car was in 4th gear, clutch pedal released and car acted like it was in neutral, which without ECU intervention we do not know how this can happen (other than clutch slippage which it definitely was not). Within the...

  10. To the Road Course (Buttonwillow track) with the 2024 Mustang GT - Overheating and Clutch Issues Aplenty!

There are lots of RPM limiters depending on the failure, the 4500rpm was at a glance so dont hold us to that exactly but certainly right around that rpm. This seemed unrelated to the clutch issues.
  11. To the Road Course (Buttonwillow track) with the 2024 Mustang GT - Overheating and Clutch Issues Aplenty!

Stick to the floor sometimes, other times it would come up but the car was still not engaged (acted like a missed gear but was not)
  12. To the Road Course (Buttonwillow track) with the 2024 Mustang GT - Overheating and Clutch Issues Aplenty!

MMR takes the 24' GT to Buttonwillow Raceway for the Speed Ventures Mustang Time Trial Challenge (competition for fastest lap) We should start by saying that normal driving the car is just fine. At the track however our base GT (that lacks a bumper mounted oil cooler like the darkhorse)...
